Best way to shop internet for new house

Hi,

Is there any better way to shop besides just getting quotes for the local companies? Any good sites for sign-up or cashback deals. Ratuken does offer for AT&T but maybe we can find someplace better.

Thanks.

Other providers may offer low rate for 12 or 24 months, then you can cancel and sign up again (other household member name).

If you’re on food stamps or SSDI, check for discounted lower tier service. Spectrum has a low cost plan for only SSDI/foodstamps.

Thanks, I checked for that but no go.

Just FYI, school lunch program recipients (even just the reduced price tier) qualify as well. If you have school age kids, that’s the avenue for most to qualify.

Or just don’t use a real name in the first place. Avoid the credit check by paying them a small security deposit for a year.

Check out toast.net. It is ATT DSL 2 (?) and ATT fiber. I think they also do cable in some parts of the country. Great service and they don’t play the price game every 12 or 24 months.

toast.net is 50% more than just going through Spectrum. Plus you have to sign a one-year contract.

Weird. DSL pricing has always been competitive, never looked into cable. Not a fan of cable companies… Good luck finding your deal!

any Cox or Centurylink deals?
