I think there’s plenty validity to spin it either way - as in, the election really isnt going to matter either way, the certainty of someone being elected is what’s going to rally the stock market.

I thought it was implied, but yes, if a crash is on the horizon, it’s pretty much going to happen regardless of who’s elected as well.
I don’t trust any polls. Look at what happened 4 years ago. People have to vote!

Trump is alive because of the most advanced medical care available developed by doctors and scientists. Yet he doesn’t want to follow their advice on any issue when it concerns the lives of others or the American people.
Trump is responsible for the deaths of many thousands of Americans and continues trying to spread disease and kill Americans. He has shown himself to be utterly incompetent.

Those CNN talking heads were going all-in on the over-dramatic fear mongering that so many are getting so sick of.
But I have to wonder what exactly Trump’s game is? Because he had to know that this would be the reaction to that little display. I can only image that it’s something along the lines of “They elected ‘me’, so damnit, I’m going to be ‘me’ and if they dont like it they can vote for someone else.”
Or maybe everyone else in the WH is infected already so there’s no point wearing a mask inside… 
As far as strategy is concerned, he hates appearing weak so he took the stairs to prove he had recovered fine. And he just wanted to make it look like it was all water under the bridge now and it was no big deal. Or maybe to help him catch his breath too. He probably didn’t care about the media reaction and projected image. For those hoping this would reset people’s view of him with regards to COVID, I don’t think it’ll happen or he’s not working too hard towards that to say the least.

Well I thought Shandril would pick up on this, but she has not as yet so I will. And remember, I’m a staunch Trump supporter. Nothing I write here changes that. However:
It’s pretty clear Trump is reacting to the drugs which have been administered to him. I’m thinking of both the steroids and the dexamethasone. His comment about not feeling so well in twenty years is, pretty much, a dead giveaway.
Trump also has eschewed all variety of drugs for many, many years. So the impact of what they are giving him will be enhanced just that much more.

Some of those might make you feel better, steroids especially help in the short term for older people generally, but as for getting better from the virus I’d put my money on the REGN antibody treatment. Most people aren’t regularly tested so they can’t get them this soon.
It’s an interesting take I did not consider. I doubt that the steroids would make him feel better than normal but who knows. It’s known that corticosteroids make some people feel in better mood and with excess energy. Either way, looking at him climbing the stairs of the WH like normal, it’s good to see that he’s doing well whatever the reason is.
Is it likely to have really been that “soon”, with the two oxygen events so early (assuming it really was caught very soon)? Just doesn’t seem to fit the common timelines and comes back to some large assumptions given the WH not releasing when Trump last tested negative.
If i were sick, I’d sure want the antibody cocktail as soon as I found out I was confirmed positive. Those look good in the trials, but in the trials they’re not given super early. Broadly antiviral treatments works best sooner rather than later, so they would probably do even better if given before the hospitalization stage. This is really no different than the case where you’ve already beat the virus and developed your own immunity, and then if it shows up again you defeat it in nearly all cases without any further complications.
Since we know he was given this, and I don’t know why his doctors would delay, I suspect he got it very promptly. Regardless of what you want to believe about timelines, it looks like a pretty good recovery in a relatively short time period, especially given his age and health.

What I mean is that the timing of the low oxygen events suggest that it wasn’t that soon in the course of the virus. But I easily could have missed some studies showing that occurring immediately on first day it could be detectable.
Agreed, they make sense as soon as possible after detection, and that’s what’s most likely to have occurred.
I think we simply do not know yet. This despite all the chest pounding. I’ll know in ten days, more or less, whether or not POTUS really has recovered. And of course I hope he suffers no setbacks between now and then. If he does the mainstream media will absolutely destroy him . . . . even more than usual, I mean.
Reporting here a personal encounter with pandemic caused shortage of home appliances:
In my case it was a simple chest freezer I was wanting. Found and bought one, at Best Buy, which is highly satisfactory so far. Decided circumstances made prudent purchase of yet another such freezer, “just in case”. Can tell you there are definitely shortages. The one I want will not become available until mid-December. Have learned other home appliances, because of the pandemic, are also in rather short supply.
If you need, or want, a home appliance it might be best to start shopping pronto.
For me these purchases come as outgrowth of vulnerability analysis. If my existing freezers went down: big trouble potential. So thought was to consider in advance what could happen to my food supply, much of which is in those freezers.
