Does the coronavirus merit investment, or personal, concern or consideration?

He held a rally and talked about it, but in keeping with the legacy media censorship, no one broadcast the speech or reported on it so how would you know? (Probably not true, but who knows? Not anyone who is reading leftist news)

Do you believe what Trump says at rallies? And his rallies are always reported on. That’s how you know about it.

Report: COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated shift to e-commerce by 5 years.

It was going to happen anyway . . . . eventually.

The pandemic just moved things along a bit more quickly.

Welcome to 2026. You’re early!!

We are today living in the future. I like it!! :grinning:

Hopefully a Conservative agenda by then or earlier. :relaxed:

About that WHO report on the origin of the Wuhan coronavirus. We were promised an interim report but I guess Xi didn’t like the draft so the WHO isn’t releasing it and will finish their praiseworthy revisions and release the whole thing at some point. In the meanwhile, an open letter by a bunch of scientists for why we should get a real covid investigation not this joke by the WHO.

In particular, we wish to raise public awareness of the fact that half of the joint team convened under that process is made of Chinese citizens whose scientific independence may be limited, that international members of the joint team had to rely on information the Chinese authorities chose to share with them, and that any joint team report must be approved by both the Chinese and international members of the joint team.

We have therefore reached the conclusion that the joint team did not have the mandate, the independence, or the necessary accesses to carry out a full and unrestricted investigation into all the relevant SARS-CoV-2 origin hypotheses - whether natural spillover or laboratory/research- related incident.

More favorable data on ivermectin. Literature review and meta analysis of various trials. It’s cheap, safe, and seems very likely to help. Lots of nice charts at the back, including findings of different studies, expert opinions from the reviewers, and covid outcomes from some cities / regions where ivermectin has been used.

Whilst the panel agreed that ivermectin should be immediately rolled out, they suggested that further randomized trials of ivermectin for covid-19 within individual country settings would be of value to investigate optimal dosage (dose, duration) and combination treatments according to covid-19 severity and risk factors. The overwhelming majority of the panel agreed that placebo control trials are unlikely to be ethical unless conducted among individuals who are uncertain whether or not to use ivermectin.

That last part is saying “it’s so good a placebo controlled trial would be unethical” to the people who wouldn’t be treated or would be treated with something much less effective.

Baby with Covid-19:

"Months into a vaccine rollout that has been stymied by shortages and marred by persistent inequities, "

if I never hear the word equity it will be too soon. The rollout has been a total screwup. now they are going to send doses to young healthy people many of whom do not want to be vaccinated.

So if “you couldnt give away a test” (their words) because no one’s showing up to be tested, what are these $650 million ‘hubs’ going to test?

I hope it doesn’t drive up the cost of heartworm preventatives.

The best way to buy votes?

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Lawmakers and community organizations on Monday are requesting that more vaccine priority be given to the Bay Area and that California “urgently address disparities” in the state’s current vaccine prioritization plan.

it was obvious this was going tomhappen with this idiotic plan. How about prioritizing older people since the risk from the disease increases almost exponentially with age?

They’re also trying to get Blue Shield to do the racial profiling since maybe the state would look worse doing it themselves. Here they just pay out extra for minority vaccine recipients to the vaccine distributor and wash their hands of it.
