Edit. The left has been defunding Twitter
Musk’s social network - which as a reminder cost him $44 billion - has been hemorhaging ad revenue as woke brands have abandoned the website.
Of the top 100 advertisers on Twitter before Mr. Musk bought the company, 37 spent nothing on Twitter advertising during the first quarter of this year, according to market-intelligence firm Sensor Tower, while an additional 24 brands reduced their average monthly Twitter ad spending by 80% or more.
Matt Walsh interviews trans, lesbian, woman of color, Ryan Webb.

A white Republican councilman came out recently as a trans woman of color. Shockingly, this brave pioneer has been rejected by the trans community. I had the chance to sit down with Ryan. Her story is both heartbreaking and inspirational.
The publication gave an example of how the well-known story went from “The law said African Americans had to give up their seats on the bus if a white person wanted to sit down” to “She was told to move to a different seat.”
This lesson from the fourth grade now does not mention race, but it simply states it was illegal for “men of certain groups” to be unemployed and for “certain groups of people” to do jury duty.
But then a few paragraphs down they slip in:
The book telling Rosa Parks’ story is yet to be published, so this might not be the final version. But what you read is the updated version from the publisher, so things might only get worse.
They dont even bother to state that the State mandated those changes. Probably because doing so would’ve exposed them to liable lawsuits. I’m guessing the publisher made the changes on their own perogative, and there’s a decent chance they did so (then “leaked” it) just to discredit Flordia and DeSantis. Now when the final version is published and all is back to “normal”, everyone can cheer the victory for justice over the facist State, scoring more points for the left while ignoring that the State was just an uninvolved bystander all along.
In an April 9 op-ed, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) voiced her opinion on supporting two proposals which could benefit millions of American families. The first would “provide an income floor for everyone” in “the face of inequality.”
Sorry Ilhan, but the face of inequality goes both ways. No one would object to “everyone” receiving $1200/month, if “everyone” was also contributing $1200/month worth of labor.
DeSantis is good at stirring up the Left
The same judge just lost big time on his ruling regarding the Florida voting law
Looks like Mexico needs an assault weapons ban /sarcasm
Wait … Mexico already has some of the strictest gun laws in the world
Which is why (soon to be sainted) President Obama had to illegally sell guns to the honest, hard-working, less fortunate people unfairly stuck south of our disappearing southern border.
House Republicans are planning to vote on a bill this week to deprive over ‘40 million hard-working’ student-loan borrowers of debt cancellation, the White House says
So instead the White house is going to spit on hundreds of millions of hard-working borrowers who paid off their student loans properly? Great plan. Especially since all these hard-working borrowers wanting forgiveness already have plenty of options to get their debt retired - it just requires them to make choices that take away from their wants. These morons who have dug themselves a deep hole, somehow believe the solution is for the government to continue digging the same hole.
Hell, I bet that student loan forgiveness would be more palatable to more people if these borrowers would simply admit that they screwed up instead of trying to pass off as some sort of an entitlement.
Regardless, this being part of the debt ceiling discussion isnt to judge it as being appropriate or not, it’s because we simply do not have the money to pay for it no matter how righteous you may think it is.
Ultimately, the joke is on Democrats, because the lack of a deal only forces them into a balanced budget going forward - which is what all the fiscal conservatives believe we should’ve had all along anyways…

CME CEO Duffy Says Firm Is Prepared to Leave Chicago ‘If We Had To’

Mayor] Johnson has no legal authority to impose a transaction tax on my business. [He also shouldn’t] get too bogged down on how he’s going to short-term-think he’s going to raise taxes on certain people in order to fit his agenda.
We have sold all of our property in the state of Illinois, in the city of Chicago. We don’t own anything any longer. In our leases, we have a language in there that says if there’s something that’s ill-conceived from the city or the state, our leases are null and void.
Future News: DeSantis renames Disneyworld-adjacent town to “Chicago”, offers $0.5B incentive to CME to relocate and build a new office.

Looks like no cuts in Florida
According to Deadline, the cuts will impact more than 2,500 jobs across the entire company. Parks and Resorts remains mostly untouched with the television division also largely unscathed, the outlet noted.
The Dodgers try a Hail Mary. Doubt it will work.
There has been no shortage of stories in the last year about the actual ways in which women athletes are being treated unfairly and robbed of opportunities to participate. USA TODAY Sports, for one, did an entire series on the subject, detailing how most schools aren’t providing equitable funding for their men’s and women’s programs, are short-changing women athletes on scholarship money and are manipulating numbers to make it look as if they’re complying with Title IX, and how the federal government is doing little to stop it.
Did Ponder use her platform to express outrage at any of this? Urge her nearly half-million followers on Twitter to write or call their representatives and ask that women be given the funding and opportunities they rightfully deserve? Did she publicly participate in any of the many excellent documentaries, videos and commentary ESPN did to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Title IX last year? Or even Tweet about them?
No, she did not. Her public concern about “fairness” for female athletes starts and stops with the miniscule number of transgender women who are participating in sports.
So she’s focusing her opinion on the integrity of the sport itself. Which only makes the criticism all the more valid, since there is no personal judgement involved.
If we’re going to call anything “plain old bigotry”, I think we should slap that label on these men who refuse to play sports with other men. Actively walking out of the men’s locker room expresses far more hate than not welcoming biological outsiders into the women’s locker room.
Once or twice I’ve been called “old school” but my feelings are not changing.
Keep men out of competition in “women’s sports”. And particularly, men stay women’s bathrooms!

Meet a few of our partners
We’re proud to partner with GLSEN for more than a decade, working to ensure all students have a safe place to learn. Target annually supports GLSEN and its mission to create affirming, accessible and antiracist spaces for LGBTQIA+ students.
We also continue to support local, regional and national LGBTQIA+ organizations throughout the year, including the Human Rights Campaign and Out & Equal, with donations and volunteer hours from our team members.
This sounds like a subject more for the next shareholder meeting. Quite a conflict of interest to be in charge of cozying up to a brand that you are also an officer for…
When the hell did race enter this equation? Have they co-opted and repurposed this word as well, since the notion of “anti-racist” is much more widely accepted so it gives the illusion of being a somewhat less insane more mainstream cause?
The question is whether this is reaching women?
The song — featuring fellow rappers Jimmy Levy, Nick Nittoli and Stoney Dudebro — was released on May 25 in response to Target’s Pride-themed clothing for children.
The song’s lyrics address an LGBTQ “agenda” that the rapper sings has gone “too far” — and has caused the discount retailer to lose $10 billion in the past 10 days.
“Attention all shoppers, there’s a clean up on every aisle. Target is targeting your kids,” Blow says in the track’s opening line.
Trying to rebuild its credibility with the left
Anheuser-Busch (BUDFF) is doubling down on support for a pro-LGBTQ+ organization amid recent backlash.
Bud Light announced on Tuesday, May 30 that it would be extending its partnership with the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce which started last year. The brewing company is also donating $200,000 to the NGLCC for the second year in a row.
Target didn’t lose $10 billion – its’ market valuation did.
