The 2020 USA POTUS election politics, the civil war, and the world war (Part 1)

What? Are you complaining that I misquoted you? Or quoted you out of context? Well here’s the whole thing:

Does that not imply that you see the unemployed as welfare recipients? No? You mean to say that you said something you didn’t mean? I’m shocked.

OR … more likely, they are of the ruling class, and find President Trump’s threats and attempts at swamp draining to be triggering, chilling, scary, sacrilegious, or better yet, impeachable.

Uh, the Senate isn’t more than one branch. In fact, the Senate is not a branch at all.

What used to be taught in the 5th and 9th grades:
The three branches of government are the executive branch, the judicial branch, and the legislative branch. The legislative branch is composed of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Thus, at best, the Senate is one half of one branch of government.
FYI, one-half is … never mind. I’m only speaking about civics. Math will have to wait until next period.

Wait I thought the Democrats wanted to defund the police. At least that’s what I read in some lousy rags, like the New York Times, LA Times, and AJC.

You’re spinning like Biden, but you can at least put verbs and nouns into a sentence. I must admit that you both seem to make the same amount of sense, but you can speak or write in complete sentences.

You know they are the greatest words ever spoken. Greater than even Lincoln’s. They are the best, most eloquent, most persuasive, and grandest words ever imagined and they will not be topped … until he speaks again.

Or maybe he should follow the Democrat example and take the Lolita Express and use all of those “saved” transportation costs to pay b̶l̶a̶c̶k̶m̶a̶i̶l̶, 'er, reward political backers.

You’ve got it Pontiac — “American Pride”.

Wait! I thought Biden had it in the bag, and Trump didn’t have a chance. Weren’t you just boasting about how Biden had the biggest lead since Washington over Adams? And this was an “average of the polls”, and not just one poll"?

Is that why you and Argyll keep posting things that aren’t always positive about our President. I almost feel like I’m giving it away, but the President has said it many times. The crazier lefties get, the better it is for his re-election certainty. Yes, you can continue to try to constrain him after he wins in November, but he will still get to put at least one more Supreme on the bench. Then the country will repeal the Roosevelt amendment and we’re off to the races.

Get your guns, masks, and run to your safe spaces. This might mean the tens of millions of people who’ve attended Trump rallies are going to become shooting suspects.

The WNBA? Please, can they sit out the season, instead of just one night? It would make for a much more meaningful protest. I mean, anyone can take off one night, but a year - that’s a real commitment.

You edit like Crazy Joe writes original material. Both are misleading, at best, and at least on your part, not done by a stupid person. It is a perfect example of why I view all of your political / social posts with skepticism.

You learned something from President Trump whether you wanted to, or not.

I’m not surprised that’s your interpretation. The Democrat answer to all problems, both real and imagined … and those created by the government - Just throw money at it.
Quite possibly, police have been stretched unreasonably thin because:

  • They’ve not been allowed to arrest violent peaceful protesters who were breaking the law.
  • Leaders in these Democrat run cities have encouraged the protesters, and horse-collared the police, not allowing them to control the protesters as they’ve been trained.
  • Police are demoralized because it seems that only President Trump has their back and is encouraging them. Thus, they quit, take time off, or move to cities with fewer violent peaceful protesters, or find a job at Costco, where they are not regularly spit on, bitten, cursed at, or shot at.

Nah, you’re probably right. They just don’t have enough resources.

Eric Trump Hangs Out At FEMA Meeting, No One Says Why

"He’s an officer in his father’s company, the Trump Organization, and has no known emergency management experience, no role in the White House and no experience in politics other than to praise his dad.

A sleepy-looking president, for his part, bizarrely followed up a comment from a FEMA official about hurricane-related “injuries and deaths” by enthusiastically praising Vice President Mike Pence who sat next to him, for his speech the previous night at the Republican National Convention.

From a comment: “Just incredible. The Trumps are acting like some sort of Royal Family - where the young Princes have full run of the place. America was founded in a bloody war to rid itself of such regal entitlement. Eric Trump had no business in this meeting and should have been barred…”

Indeed, it looks like a Saddam Hussein cabinet meeting and he’s waiting to kill someone, or to watch his father kill someone.

Wow… Really?

Gosh! I really think like this version of Biden.

An Iowa judge has ruled in favor of President Trump in an Iowa voting matter:

Judge shuts down Democrat effort to gain unfair advantage in Iowa vote

Judge Thornhill was first appointed to the bench in 2009 by Democratic Governor Chet Culver.

Some Iowa Democrat counties broke the law by sending out pre-filled ballots. This is unfair because not all Iowa counties have the resources to do so. Pre-filling the ballots arguably make voting easier. Thus, Judge Thornhill acknowledged in his ruling the unfairness in making voting easier only in Democrat counties.

That’s the same as today… Roundly denouncing any looting or rioting and wanting to address it. And secondly, addressing the root causes. Biden has given similar speeches recently. As has Harris. As have mayors of cities having problems with a confluence of rioters, looters, and white nationalists. As have all the former Republicans.
But the same also applies to white nationalist / anarchist fringe groups.

That’s where the main difference is. That second, much larger threat (FBI’s assessment, not mine. #1 domestic terror threat is from these “alt-right” anarchist, racist, vigilante fringe groups. That have also infiltrated some law enforcement.). The “person, woman, man, camera, [or] TV” currently occupying the office of the president panders to these criminal organized and armed militant groups. Because they’re his “base”, and it serves him best personally to do so – and that’s all he cares about, NOT what serves the country best. All politicians have some self-interest. Trump has ONLY self-interest. (That he’s involved in so much criminal activity that he needs to stay insulated from the consequences of probably doesn’t help…)

That sounds just as crazy as Trump’s conspiracy theories of a deep state. I abhor Trump; IMO, he’s been a very damaging president. You can oppose looting and anarchy while also decrying Trump’s actions. It doesn’t have to be that “you’re either with us or against us”.

Difference is this is supported by facts, and is partly why they constitute the greatest domestic terrorism threat…

Here’s a report from a former FBI agent.

There are various sources linked/cited in the report, so you can read the FBI counterterrorism reports, etc if you want. Or you can track down racist or militant social media posts by “officers” who have not been fired.

The white supremacist and anti-government “militia” groups are not a new threat. But a president pandering to them is.

You’re correct, it “sounds crazy” that we have this problem.

What I pointed out as being “crazy” was the statement that LE has been infiltrated by some of these individuals.

I know. That’s been the FBI’s conclusions for years… That’s part of what makes the groups so dangerous. Even just a few “inside men” can both provide them with intel and provide cover when they strike.

Part of the problem is how hard it is to fire a bad LE (partly due to police unions). That means even when they are discovered (such as through racist and/or anti-government militant posts online, communications, or actions), it is difficult or impossible for even a well-run LE organization to remove them. Until AFTER there’s something like public backlash from a seven minute execution that someone caught on camera…

Also there is the whole “blue line” idea to protect bad officers from all consequences of their actions, at all costs – including when this means falsifying or destroying evidence and testimony (which has also been a highly documented issue).

Hmmmm…

No positive tests means the virus doesn’t exist. Joke. Ridiculous.

No evidence of fraud/conspiracy means it isn’t happening. Common Sense. Dumb to think anything otherwise.

Got it.

Anti-government conspiracy theories involving the whole of everyone working in the government = treason? Well, yeah… that’s basically the definition.

Sure, it’s possible for a government to be completely corrupt and need to be violently overthrown as the only option. That’s the “deep state” “no one can be trusted” conspiracy theory boiled down to a sentence. Fortunately, most people don’t believe that’s the case with the US, and instead value the men and women making sacrifices and otherwise serving in our military and intelligence agencies. Even if they don’t agree with specific decisions or policies of some of the “leaders”.

Personally, I’m not a “deep-state” or “QAnon” whack-job who doesn’t trust any at all of our intelligence or military agencies(or in the case of QAnon and some other Trump supporters in general, also don’t trust any scientists or doctors), which are the best in the world. I value the conclusions of our intelligence agencies. Those who are instead “deep state” conspiracy theorists certainly have a right to peacefully exist and continue to believe nonsense. But they don’t have a right to form organized anti-governmental “militia” groups and commit acts of violence and terror without government interference.

I just got a message from Fragiledeal telling me that they had flagged one of my post. They mentioned it was flagged as inappropriate. I flipped to the spot pointed out…the one that I mentioned a Bush remark “read my lips, no new taxes”.

When I received the message I thought it would be another post. One of which I figured might be inappropriate. Can’t understand… Have others had a post flagged?

One for the books! Hard to understand.

Oh, sure . . . on multiple occasions . . . by the lefties here. They are very certain their viewpoints on things are the only ones having validity. Those who disagree are haters . . or whatever other silly fantasy they conjure.

Ask yourself, pattyb53:

Are Chinese citizens free openly to express their disagreement with the CCP (Chinese Communist Party)? In Cuba, if you speak out boldly against the regime, where do you end up? You know the answer to both questions.

Those with a totalitarian mindset are insanely intolerant of dissent. This is true regardless setting. For example, go over to the UC Berkeley campus and try openly to espouse Conservative views. The lefties there will shout you down, call you names, possibly even attack your person, and might riot if you persist. Your words alone would be enough to trigger them. Here on this forum it’s different. All they do is flag you. But the principle is the same:

Speech for the left is only free when you agree with their viewpoints and adhere to their beliefs.

Not supportive of rioters, looters, or violent anti government “militia” and those making excuses for them == “not supportive of free speech”?

Free speech means you’re free to spout most nonsense if you choose to. It does NOT mean you’re free from consequences (employers can fire you, etc, for not positively representing the business in the community) and it does not mean you’re free from being challenged on the nonsense or from being called out…

I went back over many of my posts. Wondered why the post I mentioned “read my lips, etc” was still there. Thinking back, now I see something I said really has disappeared.

I was angry at a poster right here & I said… “screw you”. That is gone! Offensive & inappropriate.

Seems I have seen other’s say really offensive words that are still there for all to see. Not flagged!

Your right shinobi.
