The 2020 USA POTUS election politics, the civil war, and the world war (Part 1)

Taking stock

OK, with the SCOTUS matter apparently having settled down, at least for now, where are we? Here is my take:

Democrats now desperately need to turn the conversation back to the pandemic and to (what they view as) Trump’s many failings in that realm. Look for Biden and the wholly controlled American mainstream media propaganda arm of the DNC to work together to bring this context switch about.

The pandemic is essentially all the Democrats have left to use as a cudgel. Lots of time remains for them to try to beat Trump up with it.

I expect Trump, for his part, to endeavour to turn the conversation away from the pandemic and on to other things. But since he does not control the media, and since they all detest him, doing so could be a heavy lift.

ETA

There is rather a fly in the ointment for the Democrats. Justice Ginsberg’s body remains above ground. The well-deserved tributes will not even begin until tomorrow. It will be difficult for the media to control their obsessive fascination with the Justice and her life and her accomplishments of which they so vigorously approve. But that story will tend to drive down the intense pandemic focus now so badly needed by Biden and the Democrats. It’s a challenging time for Democrat messaging.

one less thing to worry about, looks like no shutdown drama.

There’s still a lot of morons don’t realize this isn’t a football game. Hopefully some of those wake up. There’s real consequences for re-electing the corruption that’s currently in office.

Debate topics

Wallace chose the following six topics for the candidates to answer questions on.

  1. COVID-19:
  2. Race and Violence In Our Cities
  3. The Candidates’ Track Records
  4. The Integrity of the Election
  5. The Economy
  6. The Supreme Court

It is shocking beyond belief that the widow of John McCain would announce support for President Trump’s opponent. After all, there was such love and respect between those two men prior to Senator McCain’s passing.

And yes, it is shocking. But it’s where we are. A charlatan and stooge for our foreign adversaries currently in office and running for re-election. Everyone patriotic announcing support for the other candidate from an opposite party from most of their ideology because it’s the better of the two options, and country should come before party.

The thing about TX is that so many of the counties hard alongside the Rio Grande, closest to Mexico, have become blue.

In AZ the Gadsden Purchase counties have become blue. That southern region is also closest to Mexico.

Is any of NM still red? I dunno. Looks quite blue to me. What’s in a name? In NM quite a lot it appears.

And of course the situation in southern CA just shrieks blue.

So what’s the common element? Clearly the answer is that proximity to Mexico turns Americans into Marxist wannabes.

It’s a third world country plague. The wall cannot go up fast enough.

The common element for demographic changes in most states is there are less uneducated white voters and more educated white voters now. There are a few states where hispanic voters have grown by a larger amount than the change from uneducated to educated white voters, but they are almost evenly split for who they might vote for. And less of them actually vote.

He’s actually tricked a few more of the latino and black demographics with his con job. But the white voters are fleeing from the Russian puppet en masse.

So that’s why trump wanted to build a wall around New Mexico?

Trump conned Miami’s Cuban-American supporters while chasing business opportunities in Cuba

Documents show that the president applied to register his Trump trademark in Cuba in 2008 so he could conduct business and invest in real estate. His plans included not only erecting a Trump Tower in Havana and putting a golf course in Varadero and other possible sites, but building casinos as well.

To do so, Trump hired a Cuban lawyer on the island, Leticia Laura Bermúdez Benítez.

Trump’s closest associates continued to travel to Cuba in 2011, 2012 and 2013 on behalf of the Trump Organization to scout business opportunities in violation of the embargo. Those trips were documented in a 2016 Bloomberg Businessweek report.

And, in a slap to the people who helped elect him, right before Trump’s inauguration in 2017, Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, traveled to Cuba to meet with a Castro son, a meeting arranged by Trump’s property broker.

Who says so? A Senate Intelligence Committee report documents it.

And now, we learn of the trademark registration, too, more damning evidence of Trump’s true intent: to make money in Cuba any way he can: hotels, casinos and golf courses.

If Fidel or Raúl Castro had let him develop Cuba, Trump would be praising them like he does Vladimir Putin and other nefarious dictators.

And why not?

So what? Does this mean that SSMPartyCandidate Biden supports child abuse? I’m sure we’ll see it on CNN, the NYT, the LAT, MSNBC, NPR, Axos, AlJazeera, etc. in, uh, about 25 years, if any are still around.

They’ve even joined with Georgie Boy Soros, Emperor Nancy, and SSM Party Candidate Joseph Biden to create doubt about the legitimacy of our election results.

So you’re saying that her claims are highly questionable, and Trump didn’t do what she said, so Trump has done the right thing. Your logic sizzles.

Is this part of their collusion with Georgie Boy Soros, Emperor Nancy, and SSM Party Candidate Joseph Biden?

Well, if they’ve got to open a closed facility, it’s going to take money. Do you think the President should take a loss because he has to be protected from Angry Urban Dweller Socialist Democrats?

I agree with the president that people are trying to rig the election. I’m shocked at your question, considering your stance on the 2016 election, despite a multi-million dollar almost-rigged investigation and an impeachment trial proving otherwise.

I thought journalists lives were endangered all of the time because they supposedly speak truth to power. Are you saying they don’t? Or that it isn’t dangerous. If the latter, I suggest you ask the virologist who escaped from China and is talking about the origins of the Chinese virus.

If he did, that would be boastful, and of all of his qualities, boastful isn’t one of them.

The senator from New York? Oh, wait. He’s the guy who said we must let a President not only nominate a Supreme Court Justice, but that nominee must also be allowed a full floor vote. Anything else was racist.

Your first factual post of the year? You can’t really blame us. To quote somebody, our mind was primed with all of the other joke posts you’ve made.

Are you going backwards, or backwards in time? It was 128 last month. And those were fact checked accusers. They were certified and undeniable. They had been hermetically sealed in a Mason jar and put on the front porch of Funk and Wagnall’s something or other.

This is undeniable and certified by 3 known KGB operatives who have the interest of the ̶D̶e̶m̶o̶c̶r̶a̶t̶ The Party first and foremost.

And we should start with education.

Are you saying all Democrats can’t figure out the touch screen or just black people?

That sounds like an impeachable offense. If you could only find an Emperor who is not overly reticent to start impeachment hearings.

staffed by black panthers with ̶b̶b̶ baseball (for those that might think/insinuate/pretend it was a nazi reference) bats.

Today, that’s as big of a fallacy as Russian Collusion with the Trump campaign. Collusion with the Clinton campaign is another story.

Wait - Didn’t the ACA (Obamacare for those that might think, insinuate, pretend it was a nazi reference) already do that? Or was that another line like “your health care costs will go down 20+%”, or maybe that other line of “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor”?

Such class. Sorry. :frowning:

Then why are they included in the average of the polls, which IIRC (If I recall correctly, not some reference to a nazi symbol, organization, lunatic, or snowflake) you seem to admire greatly. If they’re including 3rd rate pollsters, doesn’t that impugn their integrity, and your judgement?

You can’t make this stuff up. On the bright side, her most recent, uh, adjustments have removed the Emperor visage. OTOH (On the other hand, not a nazi reference for anyone so inclined to see/look/feel/hope for one) she’s not wearing a mask, is she? If not, why not?

Oh, so she will happily impeach, but not try to shut down the government. Hmm, she must not feel that strongly about it, despite her rhetoric.

It was you or agyll who were just bragging about how many judges that Mitch got approved in a few hours. You are now surprised that he can get one done in 44 days?

I’m disappointed. If it were that easy, why didn’t he do it months ago, and save SSM Captain Party Candidate Joseph Biden from the embarrassment?

And the worst part is that he had to have someone else do it for him. C’mon you know it’s true.

Vodka or Tom?

Wow! A nazi reference, and not even from me? Will miracles never cease. So far, we’ve got Bender at 1 nazi reference, and honkinggoose at 0. I’ll keep tally just to be sure. Before the questions come, If you can’t trust the goose, who can you trust?

Thank goodness, those phony polls don’t mean anything.

I suspect that you truly believe this, but I don’t see how. And I don’t know how to open your eyes to other possibilities. It’s almost like you see red when Trump’s name is mentioned. That seems to be a common trait of far left people, socialists, communists, and some very old people. Instead of “get off my lawn” people, they are “get @$# off my &%^$ lawn or I will #$%^ you” people.

They seem to always be angry, even when they’re getting what they want. There doesn’t seem to be anything to make them happy, and appeasement is as useful as it was for Neville (and no, I’m not calling you a nazi: the word appeasement always calls up that name).

That’s more bad news for SSM Captain Party Candidate Joseph Biden. It was bad enough when the Teetotaler had a huge lead and then lost an un-losable election. Now we have the same scenario, except that according to whatever parchment that was written on, President Donald J. Trump can’t manage money. If that is true, and my doubt meter is pushing 97, I’d prefer he continue to mismanage his funds instead of doing what the swampers do and mismanage/waste ours.

I never thought it would be that Cobert guy to say anything truthful, but he readily admits it is Fake News. Hopefully he’s setting a trend for the rest of Big Media.

Is that a nazi reference? If so, Bender - 2, Honkinggoose - 0

Oh, and before you start claiming victory, this is scored like golf.

The swamp is, and will remain with SSM Captain Party Candidate Josepth Biden. This should come as no surprise considering her personal animus toward the President.

Are we now at Bender - 3 and Honkinggoose - 0? If not, please explain the the potential nazi symbolism.

Please explain this comment which some would consider racist.

I agree with the former, but maybe not the latter. Recent polls show the mayor at 62% disapproval.

No you’re not old. … just educated. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Thank DUI Kennedy and the cartels for that.

If there had been a Democrat President, you would get a choice of two scenarios:

  1. There is / was no virus. The people who died were killed by Republicans cutting Medicare, cutting Social Security, poisoning the air, poisoning the water, or just killing people because they disagreed with them.

  2. Yes, there are two million dead, but no one could have done better. This was the worst pandemic the world has ever known. Combine the Black Plague and the 1918 flu outbreak. Then mulitply that by a billion and this was still worse. No president in history has ever faced anything so formidable and scary.

Although the latter worked well for the last financial crisis, I think their moxy (and willing media conspirators) would lead them to start with excuse 1 and finally fall back on excuse 2 after the first had played out.

Sorry for muddling my responses to Shinobi with others, but I’ve hit the 3-reply limit.

I love the line where her boss told her to “keep quiet and be careful” That should be the motto of every Communist and Socialist party and country in existence. SSMC Party Candidate Joseph Biden disagrees.

==========

The hated mayor of Portland told the police that it was only a violent peaceful protest, and that they should stand down. Just let them get it out of their systems, was the official mayoral line.

It’s appalling Trump supporters simply ignore everything he does or claim everything is perfect, even when he blatantly lies. I wonder if there is anything at all they think he could do better or learn from or improve.

Too often the response is about someone else or claiming what Trump says and does publicly and openly is a conspiracy by someone else. When faced with facts of things Trump actually says and does, the response is usually some made-up fantasy.

I must not have been paying attention. Have politicians only started lying since the Trump victory in 2016? How appalled were you at Obama’s lies? Did your health care get cheaper? Could you keep your doctor?

I think that’s a bipartisan commonality going back a few centuries at least.

Chris Wallace has announced the topics, and his format, for next Tuesday’s debate. Clearly Trump is favored. Here is why:

There are six topics spread among six fifteen minute segments. Only one of those topics, out of SIX!, favors Biden. This of course is the segment on the pandemic. But the other five segments are NOT on the pandemic.

Biden will have to somehow work pandemic references into the other five topics. Can he do it absent a teleprompter? Stay tuned.

Between now and the election Biden needs to talk about the pandemic and ONLY the pandemic. It’s the sole path to victory he has. Trump has everything else sewed up.

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg is paying the fines and fees of convicted criminals in Florida so that they can vote.

In Florida, convicted felons can regain their voting rights after being released, but only after paying all fines, restitution, and other legal financial obligations.

This is entirely consistent with the Democrat Party nationwide, a party of thieves and redistributionists (same thing) seeking to transform America into a place where their thievery will further be facilitated.

This Florida support by Democrats of thieves is far from unprecedented. Consider the number of Democrat sanctuary cities and even entire states, where lawbreaking is encouraged and supported and where criminals are coddled.

Democrats and criminals: bosom buddies and perfect together!!

You a criminal? You have a friend at the DNC. And you can find asylum in Wilmington . . . especially in Wilmington.

Uh, what makes you think he won’t have a teleprompter or at least a voice in his ear. That’s right, in his ear. His handlers don’t want him repeating what the voice in his head is saying.
