The 2020 USA POTUS election politics, the civil war, and the world war (Part 1)

He was asked about $400M. It was framed in context of “the NY Times report”. He started by saying the numbers are all wrong, then answered what he was asked about.

No, he didn’t say that it’s less than half the actual total. But it’s pretty disingenuous to expect anyone would’ve.

Besides, Forbes said “most of” those other debts were from his financial disclosures that have been available all along. So how was “$100s of millions of debt” a surprise in the first place?

No, he did not answer what he was asked about. I’m paraphrasing:

Question: NYT report says you have debts of over $400 million that you personally guaranteed. Who do you owe $400MM to?
Response: The numbers are all wrong, $400 million is a tiny percentage of my net worth, did you ever hear the expression “underlevered”? It should be easy to figure out who I owe money to, I’ll tell you later.

He’s “underlevered”. Under the lever of foreign influence.

Ok, yes. I meant he just followed the context of the question. He did not answer the question.

Roberts is for counting votes. Wonder which way Barrett would be…

Facebook was actively biased… in favor of the right.

That’s per those libby lib socialists at The Wall Street Journal, those commies.

Will Trump pout, cancel the “third” debate, and flee back to his basement another Qanon Covid Party?

Going by postmark seems reasonable, it’s a common deadline line.

But the argument wasnt about “counting votes”, it was about a court making laws. PA Election Code requires the receipt of ballots by election day. Just deciding to use a different deadline is not the proper means of modifying a state code.

The issue isn’t about not wanting votes to count. It’s about indulging and endorsing people’s inability to follow the rules. Everyone wants every ballot that’s cast properly to count.

Lol…

Just get rid of any ballots that don’t have his name selected…

(There was no mention of absentee ballots specifically, like the President voted by… Just “the ballots”.
I’m sure you’ll decide what he “really” meant. Just like it’s OK to endorse domestic terrorist organizations.)

“Well, we’re going to have to see what happens,” Trump said. “You know that I’ve been complaining very strongly about the ballots, and the ballots are a disaster.”

Pressed further, Trump said: “We’ll want to have — get rid of the ballots and you’ll have a very — we’ll have a very peaceful — there won’t be a transfer, frankly. There’ll be a continuation.”

Or just get rid of all of them and cancel the election altogether? Oh wait, no president could possibly suggest that…

Well, yeah, because the Democrats are bending over backwards to make the balloting process a joke. I’m a little surprised they dont claim it’s “disenfranchising” to not accept blank pieces of paper with half of a candidate’s misspelled name scribbled on it in crayon as a proper vote.

It’s about following the rules, not indulging those who dont.

an hour and a half and there’s still not been a twitter tirade yet???

Why would he care? Just yell, and Biden’s mic will pick it up just fine.

You miss the pattern where Trump loves pretending to be a victim, and his crazed cultists love him showing a lack of any strength, because he’s a mentally declined, old, fat, and morally bankrupt shell of a man.

I would agree with you if there were no disruptions to the USPS operations. The article also mentions that some ballots may be received without a postmark and presumed “on time”, which implies that USPS doesn’t postmark every piece of mail that goes through it. There’s no way to ensure your ballot is received on time if the mail service can neither guarantee timely delivery nor postmark every piece of mail.

If they manage to really cut him off (glitch may be right that Biden’s or other mics may pick up some of the yelling or just cut into Biden’s time), then it’ll be hilarious to watch. Trump can’t formulate a coherent thought or finish an answer without jumping to tangential or unrelated subjects and taking way more time than allotted. Biden watches the clock (he cut himself off a few times in the primaries because he knew his time was up), so he’ll be fine.

“Texas’ early votes account for nearly 14 percent of all the votes already cast nationally and roughly 45 percent of the 9 million total votes counted in Texas during the 2016 presidential election.”

2 more weeks of early voting.

Trump giving example of his corruption:

“All I have to do is call up the head of every Wall Street firm, the head of every major company, the head of every major energy company,” Mr. Trump said. “‘Do me a favor, send $10 million for my campaign.’ ‘Yes sir.’ They say, ‘The only thing is, why didn’t you ask for more, sir?’ … So I call some guy, the head of Exxon. I call the head of Exxon, I don’t know, you know. I’ll use a company. ‘Hi, how are you doing? How’s energy coming? when are you doing the exploration? Oh, you need a couple of permits, huh? Okay.’ But I call the head of Exxon, I say, 'You know, I’d love you to send me $25 million dollars for the campaign. ‘Absolutely, sir, why didn’t you ask?’”

Federal law prohibits soliciting campaign donations in exchange for specific policy outcomes.

This has never been an issue with decades of absentee ballots. The only operational “disruption” with the Post Office has been “deliver everything as fast as possible”. 4-5 days instead of 3 is not a disruption. If they paid for overnight delivery of ballots, ballots would be delivered overnight.

The whole postmark thing has more to do with the class of mail it’s being sent under; as discussed earlier, some types of mail do not get postmarks. The obvious solution would be to pay for the appropriate class of mail service, not discard postmark deadline requirements.

I still have over a week to request my mail-in ballot. Obviously, it being returned past the Nov 3 deadline will be entirely the Post Office’s fault.

A hypothetical example of his hypothetical corruption I guess. Like son Biden hypothetically holding $10M+ of Chinese money for father Biden, only with fewer emails for proof instead of none?

ExxonMobil categorically denied that President Trump and its CEO had a call where Mr. Trump asked for campaign donations in exchange for favorable policies.

It was one side of a hypothetical conversation.

“Hey, how it’ going?”
“Just getting ready to start a new project”
“When are you doing the exploration?”
“We’re all set, just waiting on the last couple permits to come through”
“A couple more permits and you’ll be rockin’ and rollin’? That’s great news.”.

It does not say, or even suggest, “Give me millions and I’ll get you a permit”. Unless you want it to. These claims should also be deleted as false and misleading, if standards were being applied equally.

That said, this time his casual rambling served you up a great big softball to jump on. It’s something that doesnt require gymnastics to connect the dots, as opposed to a lot of the stuff y’all keep incessantly harping on. But it’s just as valid as all the stuff you’ve previously dismissed as being “baseless attacks”.
