The 2020 USA POTUS election politics, the civil war, and the world war (Part 1)

I’m no fan of shady excuses but apparently UPS found these missing documents from their damaged package and are delivering them. Hopefully that will be an end to the excuses rather than a prelude to “you wouldn’t believe what was in the stuff they didn’t return, let us speculate on how damning it was”

One is a Breitbart alum, not a journalist. Can’t find the other.

Yikes! The imagery would be much different if it came from the Clinton crime family … Biden raises idea of rotating Supreme Court justices:

When someone mailed some of Trump’s old taxes to the NYT anonymously back in 2016, they did what any journalist would do - published them. I dont care if you don’t like their last employer or their political beliefs, publishing leaked information is journalism and people braver than you and me rot in jails for doing it. Show them a bit of respect. If you don’t like what got leaked, well, take that up with Mr Most Genius Sh*t.

I never said I was opposed to leaks being published. My problem is not with legitimate information, regardless of how it was obtained. Only that Breitbart and all of its offshoots (looks like both websites linked above, “thefederalistpapers dot org” and “the western journal”, appear to be part of the same entity and may be breitbart offshoots) have a history of peddling misinformation. I can’t really trust anything they publish.

They should have followed Hillary’s lead … dd if=/dev/urandom … I don’t know where those emails went. Cleaned the drive … like with Windex?

Ya mean, like NBC … uh, is that the Nationalist Broadcasting Network?

Hillary was born for Covid-19, per Hillary “make it a double” Clinton.

Ok, fair enough, but

Did you trust the NYT when they said Trump paid $750 in federal income taxes for a couple recent years? I’m betting that’s going to… charitably turnout to be a mischaracterization. It’s such a weird specific number and to have happened twice in a row? But I digress.

The point is the NYT didn’t release any proof at all - just a bunch of, from our outside perspective, entirely unsubstantiated claims. 10,000 words long of basically “Trust us”. Here these National Pulse people, whoever they are, actually put out the audio tape for the world to consider as evidence. I’m sure you could run voice analysis to see if it agrees with Hunter’s speeches, ask his associates if it sounds like him, or even ask Hunter himself (but of course with the legal issues he’s got, I’m not surprised both he and his father are strictly on a “no comment” or “it’s the Russians!” reply per their lawyers advice).

Hunter Biden is not as dumb as he looks, but still dumb …

Unfortunately technology has leapedfrogged way past this. Any speech could be generated by a computer. I’m not sure if voice analysis can defeat it.

I’m not saying the recording is fake, it’s just most people probably don’t know what Hunter sounds like, and aren’t voice recognition experts.

Yeah, ok, that’s possible. Not super likely in the context of all the stuff coming out from my perspective, but how you think about that depends on your priors for likelihoods ahead of the election. Video and audio reconstructions are increasingly possible via computer from existing recordings of a person.

Myself, I’m going to be working on determining if his alleged sexcapades have been faked or not by carefully analysis of the ladies involved. I’ll leave the technicalities of the voice analysis to someone else

Joe Biden apparently quits presidential campaign

I’m gonna wait for glitch to jump all over that headline. Exaggerations galore.

In a “fair and balanced” report Columbia U. researchers say Trump is responsible for up to 99% of covid-19 deaths in U.S. Columbia used to claim be the preeminent journalism school in the U.S.

Forgiving student debt … Not the worst idea in the world, but I’m not sure if President Trump has endorsed it yet … guaranteed that smokin Joe and Kamala haven’t.

Hillary, the gift that keeps on giving, says Nancy “bless her heart” Pelosi has all the legislation teed up to drive the country left …
Hillary isn’t from the south, regardless of her fake twang and poor grammar while speaking to southern blacks, so she doesn’t know what “bless her heart” really means … and it’s rarely, if ever, a compliment.

No, you tell them they are surprised. Not the same thing. Most of this crap, if no one called out the “surprise” reaction (not what was done, but just the supposed reaction to it), no one would even pay attention most of the time.

Funny thing is, that’s the time-proven method of making so-called “undesirables” go away - just ignore it, and they’ll eventually fall in line. The exact opposite of what you are doing. You are creating all the divisiveness and turmoil, by insisting instead on putting it all front and center.

Well, you go in to such articles expecting slant, you know that’s the primary reason they’re being written. It doesnt make their points any less worthy of consideration.

It’s the slant and indoctrination from the mainstream media that is so concerning.

It’s quite disheartening to keep hearing you claim people are dumb mindless sheep happily being led to slaughter, just because they’re openminded enought to look at perspectives that contradict your own.
