“Why Do All These Racists Keep Working for Tucker Carlson?”
https://www.thenation.com/article/culture/racism-tucker-carlson-neff/
Now let’s go back to what you posted…
What really happens is that people watch the show because they agree with the conclusions he’s drawn. If you agree with someone’s take on an issue, why wouldnt you support their take? It’s inherently supporting your own take.
When people say “I watched Carlson last night, and he said…”, they’re agreeing with how he’s perceived [whatever], they’re using it as support for their own conclusions. “This is what I think, and hey look at that, there’s a population TV personality that thinks the same as me!”

Gunner Biden sets a poor example, as do his offspring … ’
Why was Ruth Bader Ginsburg a racist?
I’m not saying that Tucker Carlson is one, or hired / fired one. The evidence against RBG is pretty damning though. If that’s all it takes for you.
ETA: And don’t forget, you’ve still got the N word in your back pocket.
ETA2: I just noticed your cartoon is from a Canadian TV network … not that there’s anything wrong with that. I’m sure it’s tossed around like pablum amongst committed members.
Yes, I am aware that when people disagree with you, one of the best ways to “prove” you are right and they are wrong is to toss around the “racist” word. Even though race is rarely even a factor in what they’re disagreeing about.
Dems are getting semi-alarmed in FL.
I’m not up on code reading, but are they complaining about not enough “walkin around” money?
ETA: The headline implies that their aim has improved. Maybe they have been to the range.
Walmart hides their guns and ammo. They quit selling handgun ammo years ago (as if they could keep it in stock anyway), but now they’re removing long gun displays.
Someone being a racist doesn’t have any bearing on proving anything… except that they’re most likely voting for TrumpPutin 2020.
(Someone voting Trump 2020 does NOT make them a racist, that would be a completely different statement. For people who fail to grasp basic logical statements.)
Or supporters of RBG when she was on the bench?
The Simpsons (and FOX) is Canadian now, eh?
Uh, did I say TV show?
Holy mackeral! I just realized what you implied. Just to make sure I understand - Are you saying that Fox’s viewers are right wing?
Remaining FOX “News” viewers are alt-right wing.
I knew you thought that. Thanks for sparing us the N word. I was waiting on Kamals view.
Global is a Canadian network.
But the Simpsons is produced by FOX… the referenced cartoon is not from a Canadian network. Who cares where the broadcast that the screengrab from their image search result came from?
It’s constantly used here as the sole basis for determining that a perspective unworthy of consideration.
You just can’t ever admit you’re wrong. I may have been married to you 50 or so years ago.
I never said the Simpsons were Canadian. In fact, I did not know the picture was from the simpsons. I only commented that the cartoon screen grab came from a Canadian broadcast.
I’m not sure how that got your panties in a twist, but if it will make you feel better, I will repeat my first post which you apparently mis-read/understood.
I never got outraged, I just pointed out the silliness of the comment.
And yes, it’s silly. It would be like posting CNN articles that FOX News embeds on their site and referring to them as FOX News articles. But just because it’s silly doesn’t make it a crime or anything to get upset about, and I clearly was not upset…
Understandable, although it’s literally the longest running prime time scripted show in the USA, and one of the most recognizable. Plus it’s from one of your favorite networks.
I never said you got outraged, unless you think “panties in a twist” means that.
And no, it’s not silly. In Canada, if you only get your tv from cable, you won’t know it has anything to do with Fox. The Canadian network controls the feed, removes the Fox logo (or plasters a larger opaque Canadian logo over it), substitutes Canadian commercials for the U.S. sourced ones, and advertises the show as their own.
It is the tallest building with western facing firescapes built since 1995 east of the Hudson. ![]()
I don’t doubt you, but not to me. The last show that I watched on Fox was The Unit, and I’m not even certain that it was on Fox.
