Looks like he’s not off his committee yet (I was mistaken), but the Republican half of the intelligence committee are pissed that this potentially very serious national security risk was never disclosed to them while it was shared with the Democrats. I guess we’ll see how it plays out.

The American mainstream media propaganda arm of the DNC is clearly concerned about this Texas (Paxton) lawsuit. You can tell by the severity of their attacks on it. And, boy, it got pretty raunchy on ABC . . . sounded more like MSNBC.
Anyway, I agree with them. If the SCOTUS takes the lawsuit, Biden could be in genuine trouble. Of course that’s a BIG “if”, and the media is working overtime trying to screw the pooch for Trump . . . exactly as they have been doing for the last four years and precisely as you would anticipate.
I’m looking for a decision to be released much later today, following the network news broadcasts. Thing is if the SCOTUS does take the case, which is again far from certain, the outcome is not in much doubt. There is no question those four states violated both their own constitutions and, as well, the Federal Constitution. The decision would most likely be five to four. That still would not knock Biden out. But it certainly would cause him some concern in a world where, up until now, the media has been promulgating “Trump is nuts” and “Biden is the POTUS-elect” beyond any doubt whatsoever.
On ABC last evening they even went so far as to mention a couple of times that Biden won the election by over seven million votes. That, of course, is meaningless unless you ignore the Constitution and the electoral college, which is exactly what the liberals at ABC believe should be done.
With all the newfound media willingness to attack poor Hunter, can the attacks on Biden himself be far behind?
Biden, BTW, is the quintessential “Manchurian Candidate”. The guy is up to his eyeballs in ties to China, and they almost certainly “have the goods” on him. This is just exactly what America does not need at this critical juncture in our history, with China being our most prominent adversary.
This example of media bias at the AP is so gross and so wildly off the wall that I just had to post it. The AP, regarding the Texas lawsuit, has written as follows:
Seventeen Republican attorneys general are backing the unprecedented case that Trump is calling “the big one” despite the fact that the president and his allies have lost dozens of times in courts across the country and have no evidence of widespread fraud.
To be clear, there has been no evidence of widespread fraud and Trump has been seeking to subvert the will of the voters.
The truth:
The Texas lawsuit has nothing whatsoever to do with fraud and is completely unrelated to past, failed, lawsuits which actually did allege fraud. Effort by the AP to conflate and comingle the Texas lawsuit with the others is patently absurd. But it is also clear indication of their reporting bias and their effort to mislead uninformed readers.
For the record, the Texas lawsuit is not at all about fraud. It is instead about constitutional violations at both state and Federal levels. This is why it is so potentially powerful and so worrisome for Democrats.

Yeah, he’ll have to beg first world countries for vaccine scraps since Trump has sabotaged early vaccine orders to prolong the destruction from the pandemic. We’ll be relegated to low effectivity vaccines or Q3/Q4 2021 at the earliest. When we could have had enough 95%+ effective vaccines for everyone (in the US) by Q2.

Dont discount the possibility that he really is oblivious to anything Hunter has had his fingers in. That makes as much, if not more, sense as Joe Biden masterminding all this (whatever “all this” ends up being). “Hey dad, this guy I got business with was asking about you. Care to shake a couple hands for me?”
Biden has always seemed like a guy who would rather weather the ‘baseless’ hit on himself than throw his son under the bus. Which would be respectable, except that it also only creates more questions and feeds the speculation.
Sure, continue your fear mongering. I’m positive that come January 21, all those dire consequences of bad orange man will suddenly be resolved. And likely resolved by…a ‘new’ plan that happens to be the same as what had been planned all along.
Just like you were sure the Trump Virus scourge would magically disappear on November 4th… No. A 9/11 of Americans are now dying every day, and 100ks of Americans are gaining access to new chronic health conditions, while others are unnecessarily dying from unrelated health issues due to the levels of Trump Virus (qanon terrorists, hoaxers, etc) present in the general population continuing to cripple our healthcare system.
I’ve been extremely optimistic all year, and every stage have had to recalibrate realistic expectations based on newly demonstrated incompetencies and malicious actions. I remain very optimistic… but my optimism is grounded in realism, not imaginary fairy tales.
If the majority of the remaining vaccine candidates prove wildly successful, and if they wildly ramp up production (keeping in mind most of the others are small-time operations or have relatively no experience with mass production), then there is a small off-chance that we regain some lost ground. It’s also possible that aggressive actions by the incoming administration (dpa, etc) could have an effect, but I am not counting on the new administration to be extremely aggressive. The death and destruction is becoming normalized, I don’t think there will be political will at that time (with predicted relative reductions from the winter carnage) to confront the issues.
Why would it go away Nov 4th? That’d mean Trump in fact did make it disappear and all the fear mongering was in fact fear mongering. Gotta wait 'til after Biden is in office, or else he cant get credit for fixing Trump’s (supposed) mess…

The Texas lawsuit is nothing but theater. Though I admit it might work to move the goalposts about what a “Fair” election is. The next time you vote in a major election you will need a full body scan and 12 forms of ID. Vote by mail will probably be banned. I think states where Trump won will enact these measures.
