Lest anyone though he was some sort of smart person before, Rudy was the guy who reacted to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing by saying “yeah, let’s put the New York City emergency team in there”, despite opposition from the NYPD who realized what a dumb idea that was. He lucked out with all the 9/11 flag waving.
Needles to say, New York City’s emergency command center was destroyed on 9/11, actively hurting the city’s ability to respond to the chaos.
But the report pins the blame squarely on the DNC for the heart of the problem on caucus night — the delay in the reporting of the results. According to the report, the DNC demanded the technology company, Shadow, build a conversion tool just weeks before the caucuses to allow the DNC to have real-time access to the raw numbers because the national party feared the app would miscalculate results.
How about that? While venomously denouncing Trump’s claims about election security, the DNC was also going so far as to completely muck up primaries over their own similar concerns about election security…
It is too late for that. That horse is already distant from the barn.
But the Democrats are winning once again. And that is a forward looking analysis. To wit:
All of the Georgia election integrity issues from early November remain solidly in place. Nothing has changed. There is no reform. And the second most important and decisive election is coming at Georgia, and all of us, like a freight train . . . except silently. All the news instead today is focused on this or that aspect of the pandemic, regardless that they vote in Georgia three weeks from Tuesday.
Given the high level of Republican division, incompetence, and stupidity, and given Stacey Abrams’ election wizardry already clearly displayed early last month, it is easy for me to see Democrats applying the coup de grâce on January fifth.

Like a dog with a bone, some Republicans simply cannot let go the Hunter Biden/Biden family corruption matter. Conceded: of course Joe Biden is corrupt. Only a fool would dispute that. But Joe Biden is also now a virtual lock to be sworn in as POTUS on 20 January 2021. This means Kamala will, as of that day, be only a heartbeat away from the big chair.
Do the stupid Republicans actually want a Kamala presidency? If not, leave Joe the hell alone. Because the people really running the Democrat party also want a Kamala takeover. She is their dream POTUS. And too many Republicans are more than willing to cooperate with those same Democrat socialist radicals.
With the loss of President Trump America is already circling the drain. Do Republicans seek to hasten our demise by handing Kamala the Oval Office? Sadly, it appears too many do. They need to leave the obvious Biden corruption alone!

I believe the person that has created the division inside the GOP is Trump himself, refusing to admit that he lost the election fair and square. As I’ve written in this forum before, I fear the impact Trump is having on the GOP as the nation needs 2 healthy, appealing and articulate parties. A weakened GOP -just like a weakened Democratic party- is a problem for everybody.
Biden scandal is just fine with me right up to, but not beyond, the point where it results in a Kamala presidency.
At one time I thought it impossible, an impenetrable limit. I was wrong. Kamala, as President, would be an even greater catastrophe for America than a Hillary presidency!!
That would be a wonderful outcome, the best possible for America. Second best, and far, far worse, is Biden. But worst of all, a catastrophe for our country, would be President Kamala Harris. You could kiss America good-bye at that point.
There has been division in the GOP since at least the time of President Reagan. It has always been the Conservatives, like me, against the liberal elites. Excepting Reagan and more recently President Trump, the elites have always been in control. Here is how:
The elites would offer us horrible candidates like Romney, McCain, and even papa and baby Bush, and then dare us not to support 'em and end up, instead, with an even more despicable Democrat winning. Obviously we had no choice. We had to vote for the Republican liberal or risk total catastrophe.
On the rare occasions (Reagan, Trump) where we were able to front our own candidates, the liberal elite Republicans simply turned their backs, turned up their noses, failed to offer wholehearted support, and told us to go pound sand. This is because elite liberal Republicans, sometimes called RINOs, are closer to being Democrats than they are to being Conservatives.
But we vastly outnumber the RINOs. President Trump enjoyed Republican support well up beyond ninety percent. However, the split across the whole of the electorate is very close. Without the RINOs we Conservatives have a tough time electing a POTUS. So they end up with power far exceeding their numbers. This could not be more unfortunate or more harmful to America, because only Conservatism can make America great again. This fact was on vivid display until the pandemic hit. The pandemic has proved to be a great victory for the Chinese communists.
Yep. I was there about a decade ago, figuring GOP could be repaired from within of some of its shortcomings.
To me it’s clear the party just needs to die (become irrelevant, I’m not referring to violence…) and then a new 2nd party to form. It’s not going to be repaired, it’ll just continue to incorporate and prop up more extremists. Romney’s participation in the destruction of the bottom-up party structure between 2012 and 2016 was the last nail in the coffin.
Yes, this would leave us with the less than ideal situation with just one viable party for a while. But then hopefully we could have a new party that is better.
Such a surprising statement; difficult frankly to believe.
After all, so long as that one party is socialist/communist, like in China, you would have the government of your dreams, with no pesky freedom and liberty-loving conservatives around to spoil your day. Should be nirvana for a totalitarian like yourself.
Yeah, god forbid some party could attract and incorporate extremist groups like Antifa and the Anarchists into their base.
Definitely crazy. But I wouldn’t put it past Trump to embrace antifa though for the 2024 run, to go with the other anarchists/anti- governmental domestic terrorists he has. There’s only so many wells of extremists left for him to court.
Did you know Biden’s wife has been getting some undo honorifics bestowed on her by the fawning press? She has a EdD (not even a real PhD) in education but keeps getting referred to as “doctor”. Even Whoopi Goldberg was confused and referred to her saying “She’s a heck of a doctor.” Here’s one example from the uncritical NYT -

Sure, maybe you think the AP needs to update their style guide for all those women with EdD’s out there to be promoted to “doctor”, but for his trouble pointing out this was not what the world or word means by it currently, he got expunged from his college where he was an emeritus lecturer.
