On the ID thing, they obviously should be required if you want to vote. But at the same time:
States passing ID laws must make obtaining such free of cost and straightforward to acquire; easy with no rigamarole.
Thing is, black people in our country are overwhelmingly citizens clearly entitled to vote. Most likely have ID in the first place, as we all do. However:
Illegals should not vote in Federal or in any other elections in the USA. And they never should be issued ID which would allow them to do so.
And that is the real rub. It’s not actually about black American citizens. That’s merely a smokescreen. Open border liberal Democrats want the vote for illegals. Genuine, patriotic, Americans do not.

It’s bad enough that Trump himself is a New Yorker. Liz Cheney, whom Stefanik is replacing, is far more conservative. Unfortunately Liz detests Trump. OK, fine. So they are unable to find a conservative Republican who likes Trump? There are many, BTW.
But then what can you expect from a party of idiots whose House leader is from California . . of ALL PLACES! Everyone knows how popular conservatism is in California. You don’t go there looking for conservatives . . . or to New York, either.

Look at the five Democrat House leaders. Every one of them is a strictly doctrinaire leftist/Marxist/communist. And so is Biden. Democrats give their party members leadership which represents the views of the party faithful. Credit to them for doing that.
Republicans, on the other hand, place high value in their leadership on compromise and squish. It’s sickening. It’s disgusting. And Republicans will pay a high price for their softness. America is going to hell beneath an all out Democrat assault while Republicans are playing patty cake and make nice.

The Democrats use the ID as a cover. What they want is a repeat of 2020 where millions of ballots are mailed out and no effort is made to validate them when they show up at vote counting places.

This is so very, very true, and is well taken.
Mail-in ballots should only be sent upon request of a specific voter. The idea of mass mailings of live ballots, in total absence of a request, is the definition of insanity. It is also an engraved invitation to wholesale cheating and vote fraud.
Of course Democrats are well aware of all that. They want to pave the way for vote fraud. It’s how they win.

Ballot applications were sent out. Not the same thing. Basically not everyone has a computer and printer to go print their application themselves.
Pesky 5% disadvantage. Only a few million voters. Who cares?
Edit: let’s get a similar survey with most respondents claiming they can recite the alphabet. That means we should require people to pass a test of reciting the alphabet to be allowed to vote.
That is not the case in here in California. Ballots were mailed out to all addresses on the voter rolls which have millions of out of date entries. Even the leftist KGO radio morning drive talk show host, Nikki Maduro, admitted that she got several ballots. One to Nikki and another to Nicole.

All the states have easy ways to get ids. But you can’t make people get one if they’re not interested.
Edit: in Arizona where are some of my family lives, they allow you to use an envelope with your address, such as a utility bill, for voter ID. The Voter ID issue is a ruse by the Democrats to enable fraud.

Right. And it was not only just in California. Some states did do it correctly and fairly. But others did not.
Democrats have no problem with wrongful voting. This is because the wrongful votes are cast, overwhelmingly, in their favor. Cheating is their way of life . . . . that and stealing from productive and honest people who have earned their way through hard work.
