Only someone 6’2" would make such an observation?
Will, you are tall enough.
That’s not going to make me change my opinion.
When you say someone is ripping on “those serving,” that implies they are ripping on enlisted and lower level officers. Cruz is clearly ripping on the decision makers in the pentagon that are chosing the direction our armed forced are heading. I just saw a headline about the air force academy transgender working group. We don’t fund the air force (and the air force academy) to be a sociological experiment in gender studies. We fund it to fly planes and blow **** up. We expect them to do the job they were created to do.
It’s irresponsible that voting machines were given to " a company that has no experience with ballots or elections and that is run by a right-wing conspiracy theorist who was convinced months ago that any audit would turn up hundreds of thousands of votes for Donald Trump. The Ninjas are subjecting ballots to ultraviolet light in a crackpot hunt for bamboo fibers, which they are convinced would be evidence of tampering by China."
“a strict “chain of custody” procedure to safeguard the integrity of votes was broken when the county was forced last month to turn over voting machines to Senate Republicans and the Cyber Ninjas, who then had total control without supervision. Critics are convinced that countless ballots have already been altered, stolen, trashed or gone missing.”
Arizona Official Says Voting Machines Are Now Unusable Because Of Recount Firm’s Control
this is from the Democrat AZ Secretary of State who orchestrated the stealing of the election in Arizona.
Your words are so biased…
Depends on which side of the fence you reside. Yes, perhaps, those ballots were altered, stolen, trashed. We could have had a great President Trump still in the White House…
Instead as the story goes, blah, blah, blah…
I detest Biden, Pelosi, and all the America-hating Democrats as much as any other poster here, pattyb53. They are horrid creatures, every one of them.
But I believe nevertheless there is an excellent possibility Trump lost the election, and would have lost even in the absence of whatever cheating the Democrats managed to pull off. Here is why I write that:
Trump lost because of his own political ineptitude in the face of an overwhelming foe, COVID-19. I honestly at this point do not know how Trump could have won. I’ll focus on two states, but Trump had similar problems in several others:
In Georgia the Secretary of State there, a Republican, entered into an agreement with the Democrats which impacted Georgia voting rules. The Georgia Secretary of State had no such power, but he went ahead anyway. That consent agreement lubricated voting for a great many Georgia voters who opposed Trump, and he lost the state. Trump won Georgia in 2016 beneath a different set of rules, but he was unable to carry that crucial state in 2020 under the new rules.
In Pennsylvania the Legislature there changed voting rules in a manner contrary to the Pennsylvania State Constitution. Pennsylvania has very rigid voting rules if the Constitution is adhered to. Those rules were circumvented owing, much as anything else, to the pandemic. In the process, once again, voting was made easier for many Pennsylvania people opposed to Trump who did not vote in 2016, when Trump won that state in a close race.
I’m less familiar with other states, but I believe similar things happened, driven by the pandemic. Point is:
These things, which certainly advantaged Democrats and Biden, were not cheating per se. They were more of a political nature, at the state level. I’m not certain to this day whether Trump realizes this, or not, unless “cheating” is his wacky way of describing such things. As a communicator, Trump leaves much to be desired. Or perhaps he and his advisors believe the complex truth is too difficult to communicate to the electorate, given the overwhelming press bias against him. I dunno. But I would not say what happened is cheating. I think Trump simply was politically outflanked and outsmarted by savvy Democrats in pivotal states. I guess you could say he was thereby “cheated” out of a second term. But not in the sense of somebody finding phony ballots under a table somewhere.
I think you should reserve judgment until you read this book:
Edit: here is a non-Amazon link to buy the book. Unfortunately it will not come out until September.
Peter Wehner warns of more U.S. Capitol riot-style political violence should the GOP continue regurgitating ex-President Donald Trump’s 2020 election lies.
Wehner wrote in The Atlantic this week that “political violence will become more acceptable and more prevalent on the American right” if the Republican Party “doesn’t counteract these lies rather than indulge them.”
The GOP remains “fully in Trump’s thrall, with its leadership more committed than ever to spreading his foundational lies and conspiracy theories,” said Wehner, who served in the administrations of Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush and was a fervent critic of Trump throughout his one term in office.
Some elected Republicans “who initially reacted with horror” to the deadly U.S. Capitol riot that was incited by Trump were “now making their peace with it,” he wrote. And that’s “where things really get dangerous.”
“The repetition of the lies not only causes tens of millions of Americans to embrace them; over time, it deforms their moral sensibility,” wrote Wehner. “It creates an inversion of ethics, what in philosophy is known as the ‘transvaluation of values,’ in which lies become truth and unjust acts are seen as righteous.”
“Believing the deceptions also becomes a form of virtue signaling, a validation of one’s loyalty to others in one’s political tribe,” he concluded. “In this case, of course, what we’re dealing with is not just any lie; it’s a particularly destructive one, among the most dangerous a democracy can face. It erodes confidence in our elections, the rule of law, and our system of government.”
The QOP has found their next “culture war” campaign, for after the campaign to spread covid.
“DONT YOU DARE TELL US WE CAN’T KISS AND SNUGGLE Cocks Chickens!”
“It feels like you’ve been singled out by the CDC for criticism. How does that feel?” Carlson asked.
“I’m not a huge fan of it because I’ve been handling chickens since I was about 4 years old,” Soleim responded. “And I’ve been kissing them, snuggling them, shoving my face in them and I’m fine. People around me are fine. And I don’t see a problem with it.”
Soleim, who has 30 birds, later suggested the CDC was “just looking for something else to control.”
I thought this was an SNL skit…
I wonder if Carlson is trying to be so ridiculous it’s hard for comedians to make fun of him because what he says and does is weirder (and more dangerous) than anything they’ve thought of.
Just so you know, animals do carry disease and the reason our food is relatively safe to eat is because of government safety regulations and government inspectors and rules. We are better off because of government. Would anyone want Carlson in charge of food safety or their medical issues?
I’ve been shoving chicken into my face regularly for years. Am I doing something wrong? I’m happy to alternative with beef, lamb, etc…
There’s a difference between shoving your face in them and shoving them in your face.
Stop with the Socialism!
If you want more detail on how police reform and their internal investigations work, this is a good blog with more details than you probably wanted to know about.
Very short version - often blame lies at the top for failing to have consistent or effective disciplinary policies like in MN. Also has some stats on things like how some 90% of complaints against cops are dismissed, and half of those were basically made up entirely. Perhaps to no ones surprise, criminals allege all sorts of stuff to try to get their arresting cops in trouble and most of it is lies.
CNN anchor says of R House member Marjorie Taylor Green statement, “makes me sick”. Anything new of the liberal media.
Green was making a 5 min talk on the floor of Congress partly concerning the policy of wearing masks. She made many valid comments on topics other than masks, most of which I completely agree.
Greene really riles up the Marxists.

It’s fun watching as they lose (what passes for) their collective minds.
I guess it’s Greene. Sorry.
