Well, if you are going to pick on bitcoin as an environmental concern then you should worry about pot farming a lot more.

No, but I thought about shorting them :).
Articles I saw said IB doesn’t allow shorting them yet. Maybe out of date, though.
I’ve never done futures so I don’t have futures trading permissions to look.
Yes, IB relented and offers shorting with 200-250% margin requirements. You just have to sign up for crypto futures data, and then you can see them. Also, CME’s bitcoin futures just started trading tonight as well.
