yes.
Was the cancelled amount under $1?
āTIA
$0.99
Thanks.
Staples More (run by Citi) canceled $0.03, which was a surprise.
Any other citi cards giving small balance credits ?
citi double cash closed with 0.49 balance (no credit) 6-20-2023

Sorry I misread.
They are going to kill the DoubleCash card?
Oops sorry I misread as another card : ![]()
You did not. I was talking about the Staples More card, not DoubleCash.
I just tested CustomCash at $1.99 and Costco at $0.99. Both were billed.
Had a refund on my US Bank cc, and my purchases that month came out to be 79 cents more than the refund credit. The 79 cents amount was canceled.
US Bank should be $0.99 (if not more), except for the month when the $0 annual fee appears on the statement. This is for Cash+.
how to charge $0.99 now that Amazon reload increased reload limit to $1?
Charge $1 and see what happens. Apparently what Iāve always thought ends with .99 has either gone up a penny or was always an even number. Took me some time to discover that Discover cancels at $2 and not $1.99. Even the OP in this thread is wrong (or outdated) about Barclays ā they cancel $1.00, not $0.99
. I wouldnāt be surprised if there are other similar data points.
As far as an actual answer, some people partially pay their bills that take CC without an extra charge, like cable or phone. Search the comments on the DoC post about this, I think there were some links. Probably reddit has some more info too. All the cards I have now are good for $1 or $2.
Charge $1 and pay $0.01.
Assuming you can pay $0.01. My bank billpay doesnāt let me pay less than $1, so Iād have to charge $1.99, pay $1, and by that point itās twice as much work ![]()
US Bank did not waive $1 for my statement which closed yesterday, and it was not my āannual feeā month.
My most recent was $1 statement credit adjustment on 3-4-24 cashPLUS⦠what type of US bank card?
Same card, Cash+. My statement closed on 3/11 with $1 balance.
