There is at least one study which shows decreased speed of care (and presumed negative outcomes) at facilities attacked by ransomware scofflaws and their ilk. I think it’s inevitable that at some point, it will be proven that someone died from an affair like this. I don’t want anyone to die, but I look forward to some jackass being charged with manslaughter after the event.
