Climate Change - Concealment of the actual threat

After a quick glance, it is obvious that we no longer have a fertilizer shortage. Sheesh!

Blame Canada! Their smoke is screwing up our green power. Solar down 50%, wind down too.

Wait until they fire up their ovens for the suiciders. :frowning:

I commented on this on the green energy thread. The only way to compensate for outages like this or extended periods of clouds and light winds is to have a complete backup fossil fuel system. Somehow the costs for maintaining the backup system are not included in the greens’ cost calculations for their systems that they want to force on us.

See the satellite images that show all the fires started at about the same time.

Arson has happened before

Gary Maynard is, obviously, not all bad. From his landlord …

He was rapturous about nature and spoke of his empathic connection to trees. They commiserated about their hatred of Donald Trump, going deep down all the resistance rabbit holes. “We would sit across the table and talk for hours,” Kate says. “I was just soaking it in.”

As if there was any doubt, that quote was from his landlord in Californication.

They probably will be, when all the EV batteries start catching fire…

And to make it happen, he’s dedicating $2000000000 from the Inflation Production Act to burning timber instead of letting loggers thin it. How much will this contribute to global warming?

UK to half their climate spending budget. Apparently “standing with Ukraine” is more important than saving the world.

“Our commitment to double our international climate finance to £11.6bn was made in 2019, when we were still at 0.7 [% of GDP spent on international aid] and pre-Covid.” It adds that to meet it by the deadline would be a “huge challenge” because of new pressures, including help for Ukraine being included in the aid budget.

To meet the £11.6bn target by 2026, government officials have calculated that it would have to spend 83% of the Foreign Office’s official development assistance budget on the international climate fund.

With all due respect to the UK, they are an irrelevant part of the world’s carbon dioxide emissions.

Countries, like China, India, Indonesia, and even Vietnam are greatly increasing their consumption of gasoline and coal. Here is the Vietnam example.

The UK should spend the other half of their climate spending package to develop better nuclear power plants instead of wasting it on windmills and solar panels. Regarding Ukraine, the UK has some of the biggest deposits of natural gas in Europe, which they could easily extract using fracking, but they refuse to.

No matter how ignorant / stupid / unaware that may be, it’s still better than standing against weather. You can, at least, blow Russia to smithereens. It will take trillions of dollars and the ignorance to millions to defeat the “weather”.

Since 1979? Isnt that about when climate scientists swore we were on the verge of another ice age and everyone was soon going to freeze to death?

Except … these are temperatures from ground recording stations, which are subject to errors like the urban heat island effect. The climatistas use some bogus correction that is manipulated to make their propaganda point. The only data that are halfway reliable are the satellite data which do not show these records and the satellite data are only available since 1979 also.

Some European leftist news media have labeled the woman who drags the climatista off by her hair as the “brutal blonde” LOL. See the video at the link.

While the United States, Germany, and the UK destroy their economies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, the world’s largest emitters continue to “follow their own path”

Edit. Check out the great name of the author of the piece, Nectar Gan.

And how many pounds of CO has Mr. Heinz produced in his private flights / cruises (licensed in lower tax states) while wondering “can I get me a huntin license here?” I love to reference the real “Big Guy”, as opposed to Rocco Biden.

ETA: I’m not sure of his/her pronouns, so it may be Mr. or Mrs Heinz. Just trying to stay woke.

Greta cannot get any respect.

A statue of Greta Thunberg has been removed from outside the University of Winchester’s West Down Centre.

The statue will be shifted from the busy concourse on Romsey Road.

It has been reported that the sculpture is going to be moved and re-installed in a less-visited courtyard located near the building.

There’s something icky about erecting statues for people who are still alive, isn’t there?
