The National Park Service (NPS) has announced that it will waive admission fees to its parks on the following four days this year.

January 15 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
April 21 – The start of National Parks Week
September 22 – Public Lands Day
November 11 – Veterans Day

The entrance fee normally charged at most parks ranges from $25 to $30. All told, NPS maintains 417 parks across the country and 118 of them charge admission.
