I rarely need something the next day or in 2 days so spending $179 doesn’t make sense, although it can be convenient. Doesn’t Amazon offer the 30 day free trials anymore? I’ve had that a few times and just cancelled the last day to avoid the membership fee.
Currently I just see the offer of Business Prime for $179 and you can cancel at any time, but it doesn’t say you get your membership fee back of you do cancel. It just says you can cancel anytime which I take it to mean, you wont be charged the fee year after year.

When you cancel a Prime subscription, it doesnt cancel it until the next renewal date. You cant get a refund; if the year you paid for goes through next September, when you cancel you’ll conitnue to receive Prime until next September. Same with the 30-day free trials, you can sign up then cancel 5 minutes later, and you’ll still receive Prime for the rest of the 30 days.
If you are being offered Business Prime, you have a business account. That may be why you arent being offered the 30 day free trial, or maybe it’s been too soon since the last promo you received.
That appears to be for regular Prime, not Business Prime.
