Best Nationally Available High APY Liquid Accounts

This is correct. Typically on FZDXX, after a rate adjustment, you will see it creep up (or down) the next day in small steps… and it takes about a week or so to stabilize.

FZDXX has been bobbing around 5.19% 7-day yield for months, since the last adjustment. You can pretty clearly see when the fed adjusted rates:

Anyone know if the Vanguard Cash Plus Account (4.7apy currently) has fees or limitation after 6 ach out per statement cycle?

Open up the additional FAQs and you will see this:

Are there transaction limits?
No, you can make an unlimited number of transactions.

Didn’t see anything about fees for this in the agreement.

It might be noted that at least two brokerage firms Robinhood and Moomoo have promotions where uninvested funds can earn about 8.1% for 3 months on uninvested funds. See the brokerage bonuses discussions. The Moomo offer includes free stocks and referral bonuses. There is some work in opening a brokerage account, but these offers do appear attractive and the funds go to insured banks. Funds can be sent to and from banks via the usual clearing house procedures once accounts are linked.

5.5% savings, guaranteed for 3 months but the way the Fed is going, they won’t need to lower it. Haven’t used them.

do you think fed rates are going up?

No, but I think inflation won’t go down and they’ll keep leaving them unchanged or only slightly lower for the next 1-2 years. Market expect rates to fall some this year and more next. Of course it thought we’d get 6 cuts in 2024 and we’re at maybe 3 estimated and dropping , with no actual cuts so far YTD

And this is where I got snookered. I expected stupidity/hopefulness/political_pressure to lead the FED to cut rates too early, allowing me to sell my bonds at a profit, and re-buy eighteen months later when the rates were re-raised. Apparrently the FED is now controlled by an agnostic AI that only uses data to control rates. :(((

Anyone else not able to access DepositAccounts.com ? It says, you’ve been blocked. Multiple browsers.

Works fine for me.

Must have been a weird glitch. It works now.
