Haven’t been here in a few months but when I try to get on with my main computer, it says the browser is outdated. I have Chrome and it won’t update because it runs Windows 7. I have W10 on the laptop I’m using now and I hate it. I’m not updating just to use a few internet forums run by Discourse. And I can already see the effects here. All of 2 threads posted this year here so far? Is there an other browser that works in this situation? I’m a member of over 500 other internet forums other than Discourse and they have no issues at all with my computer.

I think the Site Feedback sub-forum is more appropriate than Off Topic for this, so I moved it. You might have to contact admins or whoever is running it, but I suspect updates are automated. You are eventually going to run into problems with unsupported browsers. From a security perspective I have less of a problem with someone using an old OS than an old web browser. You’re going to get pwned through your browser.
Plenty of workarounds for your issues, like installing a virtual machine with Linux (or Win10) on your Win7.

Products eventually sunset and stop working. I don’t know if there’s any solution here other than to upgrade your computer. I’ve got the same problem with an ancient Mac.
