I don’t know why this is being handled as poorly and regrettably as it is. But this is not political, or at least it should not be. This relates instead to the desire we all share for good health.
Nice recap on why all the official, published research on ivermectin shows it doesn’t work. The journals refuse to even consider the papers that show it does, and sometimes even the big money interest got the pre-print servers to refuse to publish them.

Sounds to me that some fraction of people with no jobs or low paying jobs declared they had a disability of “long covid”.

• China approved its first inhalable COVID vaccine manufactured by CanSino, which uses the same adenovirus vector approach that it uses in its injectable vaccine. Early trials showed better immune responses than a regimen of three shots, and CanSino claims that its inhalable vaccine also needs much less viral material to be effective. India’s Bharat Biotech has also approved its own inhalable adenovirus vaccine which it developed in conjunction with researchers at the Washington University (St Louis) School of Medicine
• Inhaled vaccines are best used in tandem within injected vaccines rather than replacing them, since injected vaccines produce antibodies in the bloodstream and internal organs which are needed if nasal defenses fail
• As per Brown’s School of Public Health and Microsoft AI: from January 2021 to April 2022, the US experienced 320,000 deaths that could have been prevented if such individuals had been vaccinated. The way I read that report, when the Minnesota Department of Ed (MDE) suspected fraud, they stopped payments and notified the FBI. Then the Somalis took MDE to court to get them to pay on the disputed claims ($20.5 million worth). The Judge couldn’t read between the lines and essentially told MDE that they were wrong for holding up funds while asking the Somalis for proof they were feeding kids. The judge is claiming he stopped short of telling MDE they had to pay. But MDE thought if they didn’t pay and continued to fight in court, they would have to disclose that the Somalis were under FBI investigation. So the taxpayers lost an extra $20.5 million that MDE knew was requested fraudulently because of a stupid judge and a lazy Minnesota Attorney General (the department representing MDE in the fight to keep the $20.5 mil) that couldn’t figure out how to not pay and keep the criminal investigation under wraps. Gotta hand it to the Somalis for their balls. Normally after someone gets caught stealing, they just run away. But the cash cow of this program was just too lucrative. The Somalis actually took MDE to court after MDE told the Somalis they needed to prove the feeding sites were real, and the Somalis convinced a judge to let them keep defrauding. Not only that, the Somalis had the balls to ask the judge to make MDE pay attorneys fees and sanctions for holding up the fund. The judge awarded them the extra money.
Now the judge is trying to play cleanup:
He specifically notes he never ordered MDE to continue paying, yet he conveniently leaves out that he ruled in favor of the Somalis and forced MDE to pay attoney’s fees and sanctions.

I know this is pretty humerous, but it’s rather unfairly taken out of context. This wasnt another classic Biden gaffe, it’s from a year ago in advance of hurricane season, saying that you should get vaccinated “now” before you are sitting in a crowded evacuation site and decide that maybe you should be vaccinated. Say what you want about the need to be vaccinated in the first place, but it’s actually pretty good advice. Get your crap in order before the s#&t hits the fan, rather than lament it after it’s too late. With so much crying about how suffering the consequences of your own decisions is so horribly unfair, I cant criticize any advice encouraging people to proactively take responsibility for themselves.
