County charges 2.25%. Are there other options?
I noticed the fed tax co.s don’t have all locals
eg.
ACI Payments, Inc. - Pay Taxes, Utility Bills, Tuition & More Online doesn’t have Maricopa

Maricopa County will tell you who can use. Most likely there is only one choice.
yes, I was looking for a work around, like someone who would mail a check/wire it. eg Bilt does it for rent/ mortgage
Never heard of that for property taxes.
Last year, I used Paypal Bill Pay before it was nerfed. There was no fee to pay King County property taxes in Washington state with a credit card which was great.
The fee for paying the county directly is 2.35%. I ended up paying my second half that way post-nerf. I am unaware of another, cheaper option aside from perhaps something like Bilt (via their rent function) or Plastiq (which is 2.9%).
Work for property tax?
Data points are very sketchy. It will probably work, but they might wrist slap you if they detect that your payment was for property tax and not for rent.
Some have been paying their mortgage for years using Bilt without any issue. I haven’t taken it that far - I just pay a water bill that’s $90 or so every two months and I’ve had no issues at all.
GTK. Bilt founder/CEO Jain is trying to get more users like .com days. I did sign up for the rewards but not the CC yet
This or get USBank Smartly
Next year, I’ll switch since the CC utilization hit isn’t worth the .5% reward with BOA Travel Rewards.
I have the card. I think it’s worth it although Wells Fargo’s servicing website is awful.
The card itself is very similar to the CSP with no annual fee and excellent transfer partners, including Hyatt and Alaska. The “SUB” is 5x for the first five days, up to $10k in spend. This time of year, that can be pretty lucrative with taxes due around the corner.
what card?
Bilt Mastercard.
