Quicken Simplifi: How to triple-dip the 50% off "first year" promo offer

Posting an OC deal here because there isn’t anywhere for me to share it… I’ve found Quicken Simplifi to be my preferred replacement for Mint, but the the $72/year annual plan price is a bit steep. Quicken offers 50% off your first year of Simplifi when you sign up on Quicken.com

However, if you let your subscription lapse at the end of year 1, you can get the 50% off offer again by purchasing the annual plan as an in-app purchase via the Simplifi iOS app.

If you have an Android device, you can repeat this again to get 50% off your third year of service by purchasing the Simplifi annual plan an in-app purchase through the Android app.

Can’t you just save the data and create a new account every year with the promo? Or do it require all of your PII and doesn’t allow pseudonyms?

Maybe - but re-entering all details needed to re-link every account would be too much of a PITA and too time consuming imo. Installing the app on a new device and buying a subscription takes all of 5 min.
