“Pardon me and I’ll pay you a million dollars” would be corrupt. Being “related to” does not create corruption. You making such claims goes against the rule of law much more so than the pardon itself, which remains a privilege afforded by the law not counter to it.
Besides, I was thinking of things more along the lines of deporting illegal immigrants. There’s been so much outrage over actually following the law, insisting we do what is supposedly ‘right’ instead of what the law actually says. That is disrespecting the law, and is directly counter to the rule of law.
Trump’s Chief Campaign Strategist is a grifter-fraudster? Who woulda thunk it?
A uniquely large percentage of the people who worked for Trump either; 1) went to jail 2) were up on charges of fraud-corruption, etc Those who remain loyal to Trump get pardons.
Then there’s another category, which puts the number of ex-employees in these two categories up to about 95% – all the employees and associates hired by Trump who quit or were fired and denounce him as totally incompetent and dangerous. There has never been a President in history this damaging to the country.
Forget dismantlement of PO, anyone that would mail an animal through the PO is crazy. No joke, I can’t imagine the PO accepting a packaged animal for delivery.
I’m very sad today because my loyal germen shep of 14 years died. She just went to sleep in a comfortable spot, no pain.
Comical enough contingent of flags? Personally I don’t see a point in lining up so many. I can see why they did it after the viral hoaxes in 2016 about “no flags”. But still…
You mean, the way Obama described it? Paraphrasing, “it’s like other’s countries’ exceptionalism”. Is that what you believe it to be, too?
You mean … from behind, right? You walked right into that one.
Or lies, misstatements, mischaracterizations, imaginative phone calls, and last but certainly not least, anything else that delays Trump, because you all know that the ends justify the means.
Sorry for responding to two posts in one reply, but until I can figure out how to post >3 consecutive responses, this is my only recourse.
How old are you? Jimmy Carter was bad, but not absolutely awful, because he couldn’t get much done. We heard how America’s better days were behind her, and the media happily explained why and that we would have to get used to it. The only thing that kept Carter from being truly awful is that he didn’t do too much.
Barack Obama took full advantage of his victimhood, a willingly deceitful press, and scared Republicans to ram through a Draconian taxing plan that would have made our current less-than-perfect healthcare system more inept that the woeful socialized systems in other countries. As well, he could have used his teleprompter skills to speak positively and uplift people, particularly on race relations, given how historic his election and reelection were. Instead, he did pretty much the exact opposite.
Everyone is a victim, and there’s no way to get out except by punishing everyone who’s successful.
ETA: We also heard during his adminsitration how America’s best days were behind her and that this was the new normal and we’d have to get used to it.
And the illegal immigrant babies that Trump is mailing back to their host countries are dying. As well, the USPS drop boxes are all being painted green, so that Democrats will not be able to see them.
This scam about the USPS would be funny if it weren’t so sad. I can only speak from personal experience, but mail service has never been better. The bills keep arriving on time. My Chinese virus checks arrived much sooner than expected. And to top it off, I got a new mailman who doesn’t drive onto my lawn bi-weekly. If this is the result of dismantlement, I’ve got a few things I’d like to see dismantled.
The USPS has a long history of delivering certain small live animals. Just because you didn’t know or can’t imagine this, doesn’t mean that someone using this service is crazy.
And you’re right that I was talking about during his POTUS years. I didn’t see many, but the only one that I recall uplifting was his first DNC acceptance speech.
