Twitter sure is trying hard to suppress the Biden story, between banning sharing the link to the NYP story (“dangerous!”) to deleting the editors tweet of his own story to suspending the White House Press Secretary for mentioning it. Here are more details on the social media censorship and their limp wristed excuses for themselves (all of which would have banned the NYT story on Trumps taxes or the Steele Dossier or any number of other under-sourced hit jobs but somehow those never had any issues as long as they were anti-Trump)…
Do note Biden’s campaign response has not denied the truth of the emails, nor that Joe did indeed meet the Ukrainian in question (contrary to his campaign lies about never being involved with Hunters dealings)… the best they could come up with was “meeting to solicit bribes from foreign officials” wasn’t written down on his calander for that day, but it could have happened then anyway or happened any other time just like the emails confirm.

You just have a hard time understanding the difference between “social democracy” and “socialism.” These concepts are, like, totally not even close. I’m not against free enterprise, but US elections and campaign finances are heavily regulated. Contributions are limited and documented and so forth, and with good reason. If Twitter is providing advertising and censorship services only to one party in the election, the latter of which it seems pretty clearly to be the case, that could well run afoul of the campaigning laws. In fact Twitter has a history of not complying with the campaign finance laws and was recently fined $200k for violations in a state election. This is obviously higher stakes.
As for free enterprise more generally, I think there’s an increasing antitrust interest in censorship and abuse of power by the large tech companies like GOOG, FB, etc, and they have seen congressional scrutiny for this.
