The 2020 USA POTUS election politics, the civil war, and the world war (Part 1)

It’s incredibly disheartening to see older family members, whose opinions I used to respect (and who I KNOW only voted for Trump last time because they hated Hillary) – go HARDCORE for Trump this time and just eat his bullshit like it’s candy.

Again, I don’t give two craps about how much you want to spend. You can still only give so much money to his campaign. Citizens United has nothing to do with that.

The truth - there wasn’t even a job. Hunter Biden was catfished.

They likely feel the same about you and the Democrats bullshit.

Even if I grant you that there’s bullshit from the left, you have to agree that if you take all the bullshit from each side and put it on a giant scale, it’ll break from all the bullshit from the right.

Again, literally doesn’t matter that I can only give x to him. I can spend all I want on his race.

/this ad not paid for by the Elect Bill to Dogcatcher Committee

Again, it literally has zero relevance to the topic.

Nope, Romney got his face covered in orange makeup and brown something else like all the rest. He doesn’t look like he particularly enjoyed it, but he did it.

Citizens United says I can spend however much I want on dogcatcher or SC Senate race, it’s free speech. Not only is it relevant, it’s the exact reason people can spend so much on the race.

“The case arose after Citizens United, a conservative non-profit organization, sought to air and advertise a film critical of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton shortly before the 2008 Democratic primary elections.”

This was a case that Republicans loved because it opened up the cash floodgates. Only now they whine because guess what, two can play that game.

Romney did vote for removal from office during the impeachment trial. (Because that’s what the evidence supported)

Your belligerent ignorance has worked this time, because I just give up. This is like trying to drive a toothpick through a steel wall. When you have absolutely no intention of understanding something so straightforward that’s right in front of you, you are the the definition of the problem.

I can spend as much money on the race as I want. I don’t have to give it to a candidate.

Even you yourself said “And besides that, the legality wasnt the point. There’s been no implications of any violations.”

So even by your own admission this is perfectly legal. This is just whining and crying by people like Graham. As I pointed out, Republicans are very fond of whining and crying when things don’t go their way.

Had to grab this before you might decide to edit it to remove that you said it’s legal with no implications of any violations.

No shit, sherlock. The whole comment was about all the money being given to the candidate.

I disagree with your use of the word “probably”.

Savannah grilled POTUS without mercy. Meanwhile Plugs got the warm and fuzzy, snuggles and kisses, treatment over on ABC from George. Even liberals should be able to see the contrast. But they cannot. And Trump parried every thrust and looked great and in control throughout. Plugs would have fallen apart beneath such a fusillade.

Anyway bottom line, Savannah is a Democrat as surely as the sun will rise every morning. Take it to the bank.

But you see, there’s nothing at all wrong with that, Citizen United ruled that is perfectly legal.

That fact that lots of people are willing to donate to Graham’s opponent or just against him? That’s free speech. It doesn’t matter why they are donating, or where they live.

Welcome to the wonderful world of living with the consequences of decisions. It’s what Republicans like to claim they are big on. Man up, f— your feelings, pick yourself up by the bootstraps and all that.

GOP spending hasn’t been “low”. Trump/GOP squandered over $1T this cycle. Trump ran it into bankruptcy just like the companies he drove into bankruptcy

Why do you keep repeating this? No one has said otherwise.

Citizens United had nothing to do with contributing to a campaign. It was about buying your own ads. Rules on campaign contribution limits were entirely unaffected by that ruling.

Good grief.

Biden on court packing

Beneath questioning from George, Biden appeared to leave open the possibility of court packing if Amy’s nomination is confirmed by the Senate and if he (God forbid) wins on November third (or whenever).

Since Amy is as good as on the Court already, vote Trump if you want to avoid Court packing . . . . and disintegration of the USA.

Why is it called “campaigning” and “positive thinking” when Trump declines to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses, but it’s “the disintegration of the USA” when Biden declines to commit to keep the current number of justices if Amy is confirmed?

Hypocrisy, that’s why.

I just watched both on youtube.

Trump was pressed more because he dodged the questions and went off on tangents. And let’s not forget the ridiculous number of lies and conspiracy theories. Plus all the empty promises and “we’ll see what happens” and “you’re going to be very happy”.

Biden did amazingly. Even conservatives should be able to see the contrast between someone who knows policy in and out, has put forward a plan on every subject, and someone who parrots the same lies and half-truths after every question and has no plans for anything.
