The 2020 USA POTUS election politics, the civil war, and the world war (Part 1)

You are so very, very young. And it shows.

Biden wins Michigan, again.

It’s a pity you decided not to watch earlier today. You undoubtedly would not have been convinced. But if you are in the least fair minded you might at least have come away with a qualm.

I caught the highlights, and it really just sounds like more of what they’ve been doing for the past week, or so.

If you were more fair minded, I think you would have a lot more qualms with their rhetoric and method than you seem to.

People with facts on their side that actually have evidence don’t need to spread conspiracy theories.

Are you actually OK with the conspiracy theories as part of their message? Do you actually believe that part of what they are saying, and not recognize the absurdity, and furthermore, how that inclusion completely discredits anything else they have to say?

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-11-19/trump-campaign-seeks-to-withdraw-michigan-election-suit

President Donald Trump’s campaign says it’s dropping its Michigan election lawsuit because it succeeded in halting certification of election results in Detroit and surrounding Wayne County, despite the outcome already having been certified in favor of President-elect Joe Biden.

More like the networks and others don’t want to be used to propagate conspiracy theories any more. If there were an iota of truth on these voting machines’ problems, Trump’s legal team would have taken the evidence to a real court. They beat their followers into a frenzy trying to create confusion and pressure the judiciary. It hasn’t worked these past few days and it isn’t going to work in the future.

I think we strong Americans might be fraught in the realm of fraud.

But in spite of anger I tried to listen to Biden give a speech today. He is utterly lost! First time he has actually taken questions. Of course from democrat players.

AGAIN LOST, he wondered around trying to come up with respectable answers (easy questions).
HE COULDN’T!!

Now I tell myself, how can we take it? Biden trying… We don’t need a POTUS that can’t even answer easy questions from his loyal followers. It’s plain pathetic folks…

“While just 14 men have been arrested in the plot so far, they had a “Plan B” that “involved a takeover of the Michigan capitol building by 200 combatants who would stage a week-long series of televised executions of public officials,” ABC7 reports. Plan C involved burning down the statehouse with its legislators locked inside, “leaving no survivors,” ABC7 continues.”

" The conspirators also allegedly planned to kidnap Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D), the FBI reported last month. Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker told reporters this week he gets threats daily. Still, some of the men arrested have gotten bond reductions and are now free."

A huge domestic terrorism plot yet to be condemned by Trump and his supporters. Instead, they redouble vicious attacks on the potential victims.

So, you’re saying the Russian wedding cake was melting?

That is a common problem at weddings. Or at least it was until Trump Virus canceled wedding receptions…

No, I’m just looking at the issue in general, not any individual claim, and being realistic - you know I’ve been here all along saying that something stinks. If their argument can get some traction then great, but I highly doubt there’s enough tangible evidence to support changing anything about the election. They’ll need a very clear and very all-encompassing smoking gun to do so, not circumstantial evidence that might imply malfeasance.

That’s Dollar Store Nosferatu’s patented mix of flop sweat and dirt from his homeland.

Condemn it? Trump advisor Scott Atlas is out there telling Michigan to “rise up”. They’re not condemning it, they are promoting it.

But maybe Atlas is just doing some sort of variation of those catheter commercials that Trump enjoys so much.

But hey, what does this guy know, he was only hired by Trump to be in charge of election security.

“That press conference was the most dangerous 1hr 45 minutes of television in American history. And possibly the craziest. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you’re lucky.”

From where I stand, it’s sour grapes both ways. Dems refused to acknowledge in 2016 that they lost the election for 2 main reasons. They underestimated Trump, they were in denial that there was deep resentment in the electorate and that they’d be very motivated to kick out the establishment. And then they picked a candidate that was seen as very flawed and failed to motivate its own troops. But instead, they focused solely on Russian interference. Sure Russia helped push the candidate they preferred using the tools at their disposal. But they did not force people to vote for Trump either and stay at home instead of voting for Hillary. Basically sour grapes and finding a convenient culprit instead of accepting that they lost because they ran a crappy campaign with a weak candidate and were disconnected from voters.

I see the 2020 situation as completely identical in that Trump and its groupies are chasing mirages, blaming voting machine, deep state conspiracies in states controlled by Republican officials, failure to be within 6 ft of people counting ballots and other nonsense instead of facing the reality that this was a referendum on Trump and his resume was not strong enough this time around. Blaming it all on bad luck of timing of the pandemic rather than a flawed campaign or candidate would be more credible. Convenient targets for blame shifting are different but mechanism is identical. But it was to be expected considering both sides were convinced beyond any doubt before the election that their horse could only win or win. Nobody likes to get bitch slapped by reality. So denial and blame shifting are potent coping mechanisms.

Everyone recognized Trump won the election in 2016… albeit while losing the popular vote, which is very uncommon and has long been lambasted by all parties as a very poor outcome that we would want to avoid.

No one refused to acknowledge that Hillary lost the election.
