I believe she was neither arrested nor for putting out statistics. Someone was using her computer credentials to hack the state systems and the police took her computers to investigative that. They even got a subpoena too!

Sure, ignore the fact that someone hacked government computers, and the evidence led back to her home.
It is far more reasonable to just refer to it as the governor sending the gestapo to intimidate someone he doesnt like.
I’d ask where the evidence it to support this otherwise baseless claim, but it’s well-established that when pushing the “right” narrative, speculation and conjecture is the only proof necessary.

What is right is keeping the Senate under Republican control so as to hold Biden and his liberal minions in check. Period. Nothing else matters.
Are you completely blind to the appointments Biden is making? They are, almost to a person, a catastrophe for our country, as is Biden himself.
Thank God for smart people like pattyb53. She is doing her best to avoid total disaster for America and she deserves high praise for her patriotism and her strategic intelligence.

As President, (whoever it is), special treatment is warranted. Giuliani is a private citizen and should not have access to special treatment options that are not available to everyone else just because he commits crimes in service of Trump.

I’m fine with the authorities seizing her computer and phone as part of the warrant but the gun point entry threatening her and her kids was over the top for me. There was no reason to believe she was an immediate threat. Even if they claim that she did not open the door right away early morning, this looks like excessive use of force to me.

That’s a very subjective argument rooted only in your own convictions. It’s totally fine for you to think that. But it is harder to advocate for - especially before anyone takes office and can be judged by their actions - than righting a proven wrong (if there was one in the first place) in the case of alleged voter fraud.
All I’m saying is that as someone not swallowing the party propaganda line, hook and sinker, I’d be much more receptive to a simple appeal for upholding justice than just throwing my money to get some random Republican senator get elected in a state I don’t really care about personally.
That said, more power to you and other for giving to the cause directly. That shows putting your money where your mouth is and how dedicated you are in the democratic process and what you believe in. I applaud you for it.

This is the politics thread. Are you really surprised that powerful well-connected people get special treatment? That’s why these people go into politics! I didn’t notice Gov Newsom getting arrested for not wearing his mask at the French Laundry or whatever other of his own edicts he no doubt violated.
You can pretend all you want. She was providing factual information. The governor has been providing proven false information. Who do you think should be arrested?

Ok. She wasn’t actually arrested, but agents entered her home against her will (with guns drawn, she said) and forcibly searched it and seized property and would have used force on her if she resisted. They took her phone and computer.
It was still beyond the bounds.
And you know what I mean. They could have contacted her and asked her about it first instead of using an armed raid on her house. The video shows them brandishing weapons with children present so what choice did she have? One assumes they were ready to use their weapons by brandishing them.
Maybe you agree, maybe not, kinda hard to tell.
These two R senatorial candidates hold the key to keeping R Senate majority. It’s not that the state of Georgia is particularly of interest to me. If not for this election, I could care less.
So if you’re a Conservative Republican you should be very concerned about the Jan 5 election outcome. That’s it!!

These two insider trading candidates have professed their undying loyalty to Trump and Qanon conspiracy theories specifically and not to the GOP. Anyone who voted against Trump has no motivation to vote for or support these stooges.

I go back a long way. No thoughtful American, alive or dead, would take Joe Biden seriously as presidential material. Biden was never even serious senatorial material. He managed to become a senator because he ran in a tiny, unimportant state having scant few contenders for the job.
Biden was at the bottom of his class at a very second rate law school. He finished seventy-sixth out of eighty-five students at lowly Syracuse University law. Biden has admitted to having plagiarized while a student there, and of course his later plagiarism involving Neil Kinnock, a Brit, is well known to anyone with a memory.
Biden has been a zero for as long as he’s been around and involved in public life. His specialty was supposedly foreign policy, but he seldom if ever got any of that right. When we finally took out Osama, it was Biden alone who counseled President Obama not to go.
Biden for a great many years has had the smell of a loser, and for good reason. It is because he IS a loser. God willing he will be dislodged as President-elect. The fate of this country depends on it.

That Congressman is a California Democrat named Eric Swalwell.
Swalwell has been one of the most outspoken Trump critics, and no wonder considering his activities between the sheets and Trump’s severity with China.
Guess no American girl would sleep with Swalwell so he did the best he could. And BTW, Fang Fang has fled our country and is now back in China. Maybe Biden will name Swalwell China ambassador so he can resume his liaison. The guy clearly is not very smart. So he would be a perfect fit in the Biden administration.
Finally, Swalwell was targeted because the Democrats named him to the House Intelligence Committee, of all things! This just when you thought they could not be any more stupid. So no wonder the Chinese Communists focused on him.
