The 2020 USA POTUS election politics, the civil war, and the world war (Part 1)

He calls his own country 3rd world. Who is disrespectful ?

What does that mean?

?

Associating looney bin with Trump/ conspiracy terrorists is unfair to those in looney bins.

OK, but that comparison is truly not nice.

Exactly what I said. It’s mean to looney bins.

The Texas lawsuit will ensure President Trump remains in office.

Finally: An end to the Biden madness.

Great!

One problem, Supreme Court must take on (agree to listen) to The Texas Lawsuit.

I said it before, and I’ll say it again. A bad regulation or law will not cause the court, any court, to simply throw out votes that were cast in good faith. Either the entire election will be re-held (not gonna happen), or those with now-invalid votes will be given the opportunity to “cure” their vote (not gonna change the result).

For there to be any chance of a change in the result, we’d have to hear Biden himself get on stage and say “yep, I told them exactly how many extra votes they had to dummy up in each precinct to get us those swing states. And by golly I nailed that number, giving me just enough to win each place without having to overpay the fraudsters for more votes than I needed. Funny thing is, we took a lot of Republicans who hadnt voted and cast the fake votes under their names, and those dummies dont have a clue how they helped push me over the top!”.

I know there’s a few who would say it isnt all that far fetched to think Biden may inadvertantly do just that. But, yeah…

Donald Trump: ([01:40:46])
Now, we built the greatest military in the world and the better it is, the less likely it is that we’re going to have to use it. But everything that we’ve achieved together is on the line on June 5th. And this election, you can send a message to the fake news media, and there’s a lot of them right back there.

Boo.

You sure they werent boo-ing the fake news media that where in the back? I thought it was common Trump rally protocol to boo whatever evil and corrupt stuff he highlights.

I only ask because I find it hard to believe that someone would attend a Trump rally knowing exactly what he was going to say, unless they were already on his hook.

You missed the bold part. Trump is telling them to vote in the runoff election on June 5.

Yes, I only copied the boo in the transcript for comedic effect… Yes, in this case they were saying “Boooo-urns!” at his Covid party.

Trump/McConnel: No retroactive, special immunity? Fine! WE’LL DEFUND THE POLICE THEN! No money for police departments! (Or other state and local government services impacted by the Trumpdemic)

Huh?

I know you were trying to be funny. But isnt a proposal eliminating (or in the case of the other proposal mentioned, including) each side’s deal-breaking issue a pretty damn fair try to reach a deal?

I’m sorry, but locally, sales tax revenue is up over last year. The state added a $50 bonus to all unemployment claims through the end of the year, because they had existing corona aid money sitting there and nothing to spend it on. And the unemployment rate is lower than it was during most of the Obama years (and includes a slew of unemployment claims that werent even eligible in the past).

Regardless of what side you’re on, you have to admit there’s a fair case to be made that the local governments requiring extensive aid are those that were already waste deep in a unsustainable fiscal hole. Just throwing more money at them to subsidize their ongoing largess isnt helping anyone long term. If you still want to bail them out, fine, but that’s a different conversation than virus relief aid.

That may be the case for you but if I were the target audience, I think I’d feel a bit more motivated to give by an appeal to right a (alleged) blatant injustice than by helping the campaign of someone who’s not my representative to get more TV ads. One feels like I’m a hero of justice making a stand to defend what’s right, the other makes me feel like the usual cash cow who gets regular calls in every campaign.

Governor of Florida going full authoritarian by arresting someone putting out correct statistics.

I think counsel for the defendant could convincingly claim temporary insanity so even Biden saying it may not be enough.

I thought the SCOTUS would actually have more interest than they did in the PA case but they quickly shot it down. Probably for the reasons you mentioned. People voted in good faith and there’s no way they’re going to overturn it at this stage. So I think there’s no way they’ll look at the Texas lawsuit, especially when it’s filed this late.

There’s no “Texas lawsuit”. There’s a Paxton lawsuit. And Paxton has been under criminal indictment for fraud for years, no one reasonable would take his claims seriously assume his claims had merit. The actual claims matter, of course, but they’re going to be shown to be in bad faith just like all the other nonsense suits have been.
