My objection is to you claiming that the rule changes were fraudulent or led to fraudulent results (meaning fraudulent votes?). If any rule was changed allegedly illegally, then the allegations must be proven in court before the rules can be reversed or replaced. I have no objection to pursuing those claims in court and changing or re-adopting the rules to make them legal, whatever that may be.
As I mentioned before, this does not mean that the votes cast under those rules are illegal or fraudulent. Everyone (both sides) knew in advance what the rules would be and voters had no choice but to follow the rules in place. The voters can be neither blamed nor disenfranchised for following the rules.
Trump and Giuliani should have a one way ticket to Guantanamo if there were actual law and order. Yes, they have both directly asked for a terrorist attack.
Photos of congresspeople taking cover, vandals inside Congressional offices, protestors assaulting law enforcement, a gallows with hanging noose set up outside capitol.
“I am in the House Chambers. We have been instructed to lie down on the floor and put on our gas masks. Chamber security and Capitol Police have their guns drawn as protesters bang on the front door of the chamber. This is not a protest. This is an attack on America.”
We get it xerty. You are anti-American, opposed to the Constitution and the rule of law, in favor of violent attacks on America, it’s democratic institutions, and anyone you dislike.
Forget about BLM for a second please. I want to understand your position here.
Are you saying you don’t have a problem with massive groups of people overpowering law enforcement to break into a federal building and bypassing security measures for the purpose of forcing Congress to not complete it’s debate and count the votes for the presidential election? Is this something that’s acceptable to you?
You’ve never positioned yourself as a blind Trump follower here, so I’m pretty surprised by your posts.
" Many, including top diplomats and leaders in Iceland, France, Austria, Colombia and Scotland among others, reminded the US of its role as a model of democracy in the world, and expressed disbelief at the breach of the US Capitol – the first time that the building had been overrun since a British attack during the War of 1812, according to Samuel Holliday, director of scholarship and operations with the US Capitol Historical Society.
“This is not America,” wrote European Union High Representative Josep Borrell, who described the mob’s actions as “an unseen assault on US democracy, its institutions and the rule of law.”
“The United States stands for democracy around the world,” wrote UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Twitter. “The US Congress is a temple of democracy. To witness tonight’s scenes in #WashingtonDC is a shock,” said President of the European Council Charles Michel.
He’s not defending it. He’s saying, what the hell did you expect to happen? These are the standards you set, and a sentiment you’ve spent years incessantly egging on. The only difference between this and most of the summer is these guys aren’t claiming “white privilege” justifies it.
Did he? Because I only recall left wing “news reports” screaming non-stop headlines about all these terribly things Trump was saying. When nearly noone would’ve even heard what he said, let alone hear the evil interpretations of those words, if not for all those non-stop headlines.
So who was doing the instigating? When you make it your mission to tell everyone how they should be condemning him, you’re the one fueling the other side.
I know cops are just evil racist pigs who should rot in hell, so it’s all ok. But they’re just as much part of “the government”. Different venue, same premise.
No, I don’t agree with it. But I haven’t agreed with most of the last 10 months.
