Is this the new version of being outraged about Obama wearing a tan suit?

I’m perfectly fine going back to a time when the daily complaints people have about the president are about what the president is wearing or eating.

Well you’re in good shape then. Because Kamala will become POTUS, I suspect, in very short order.

I don’t think Biden is going to commit treason necessitating the 25th or impeachment.

Madam VP, and the New America.

I read someplace that she was doing an Advertisement for Tennis Shoes. :worried:

If by people, you mean people in the mainstream news media, then you are in luck. I don’t think the news media learned anything from the past decade, so I don’t seem them treating this administration any differently than the Obama admin and pretty much giving them a pass on any mistakes they make.

It wasn’t a partisan statement.

And for the record, I agree that what she’s wearing does look bizarre, but I don’t think anyone cares about my fashion opinions since I’m sitting in my office wearing socks AND sandals (those kind of sandals that you wrap around your whole foot, not the slip-ons), sweats-not the cool kind, and a coffee-stained hoodie.

You’re right. But the old gent is 78 and about to assume the burdens of a job capable of taxing severely a FAR younger person.

Add to that his obviously compromised situation vis a vis China, and even Ukraine where his admission of guilt is on video.

I do not believe Biden will be impeached. More likely he will be forced by upcoming revelations to resign. And Kamala, the gal in sneakers, is just one heartbeat or one resignation away from the big chair . . . and completely unprepared to assume the office of POTUS. Do you remember that she quit early and was unable to win even a single primary election? Tulsi took her down for goodness sake. What chance will she have against Putin!

The Constitution of the United States of America

Amendment XIV

Section 3.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Key voters want Speaker Nancy Pelosi to put the brakes on impeaching President Trump again, and they are also calling for the punishment of Big Tech for censoring the president, according to a new polling memo to a top Trump adviser.

Pollster John McLaughlin’s memo to Jason Miller shows that battleground voters are more eager for the nation to move on rather than impeach the president for last week’s violent protest by pro-Trump supporters in the U.S. Capitol.

And if Congress doesn’t move on, adds the two-page memo shown below in full, those who push for impeachment may face a voter backlash in the 2022 midterm elections.

“Voters strongly prefer that Congress deal with fighting coronavirus and not impeachment. Impeachment is viewed as a waste of time and money. Voters believe that the Democrats are playing politics and that continuing to attack the president is making it worse,” wrote McLaughlin.

His top finding focused on the upcoming transition that occurs on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20. Some 89% are eager for an orderly transition, and 70% called that “very important.”

Next was impeachment, and voters in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin are firmly against it.

  • Sixty percent of all voters said it is “another waste of time and money.”
  • Twenty-three percent prefer impeaching President Trump.
  • Seventy-seven percent said Congress should work on the coronavirus response instead.
  • Seventy-four percent said impeachment is “politically motivated to prevent the president from running again."
  • Sixty-five percent said Biden and Pelosi are “keeping the country divided.

The survey memo included a warning against pushing on with impeachment, as Pelosi is poised to do, possibly with a full House vote on Wednesday. Nearly half of those polled are “less likely to vote for a member of Congress who votes to impeach.” Just 36% are more likely.

Lol. How can they be less likely than 0%? The white nationalists, anti government and conspiracy theory extremists are 0% likely to vote for anyone not making excuses for the terrorist in chief.

There are lots of articles being written in this vein.

Some people here like to say that you aren’t entitled to speech on another’s website or to another company’s services. I wonder how far they are willing to take that approach - what if banks decide all Democrats suck and refuse to do business with them at all? Is that a problem? (I mean, most of them are poor anyway, but still they may aspire to become rich enough to hate taxes and vote Republican). They’re trying to do that to Trump and I’m sure they’ll try to expand that to anyone they can label a “domestic terrorist” for protesting while white (instead of protesting while black, which entities you to first dibs on Biden’s covid bailout fund).

What if all the red state farmers refuse to sell food to blue states at all? Already a bunch of restaurants in NYC were calling for a personal boycott of DeBlasio, Cuomo, and the other NY politicians that thought helping Biden win the election with their lockdowns (which are suddenly now unnecessary, despite worsening virus numbers) was worth destroying locals businesses with crazy and often changing regulations. Under the boycott, these politicians would all be refused any restaurant service - grow it yourself if you want to eat, or build your own food chain and restaurant. Nothing grows in your northern / desert state? tough, better move, your money’s not good here.

A better question is - do we want this kind of political discrimination to be allowed? Let’s say your local doctors office or grocery store won’t see you or take your money until you put on a MAGA hat and have your picture taken, together with giving them the rights to it. People have lost their jobs and their livelihoods over less.
