The virus knows Biden will be taking control very shortly, meaning it no longer will be permitted/encouraged to run amok. Heck, everyone knows Trump was supportive of the virus whereas Biden hates it and will battle it. 
I remember well when several, (or at least 1) person I know was fired (on the spot) for saying “all lives matter”. He was a sports commentator for the Sacramento Kings. Several years ago it was all the rage for NBA players to wear BLM warm up shirts.

This excellent article from “The Hill”, dated today, makes a great many of the arguments and points I was posting here on this thread last week. But the Hill article is much more professionally written and sourced than was what I wrote.
Bottom line and briefly, Republicans have a real dilemma if a Senate trial goes forward. Namely, if seventeen of them agree to find Trump guilty it will open the door for Democrats alone to disqualify him. While seventeen Republicans might want to punish Trump, they are fearful of doing so in that manner.

I find kneeling during the National Anthem infinitely more respectful than beating a police officer with an American flag/pole.
You’re free to be outraged at players kneeling. But exercising that freedom doesn’t make you “not wrong”.

That slogan is history. In many schools, every month is anti-racism indoctrination month and much of the “literature” they read is chosen from diverse and much less literary sources. Unsurprisingly, making the subject matter of the English classes about black ghetto culture has not overcome the educational priorities in current American black culture and there are still very large disparities in academic performance by race. Maybe these can be reconciled by the social justice crusaders by removing grades entirely. Plenty of examples below

Someone hacked the back end interface to Parler before the Big Tech shutdown and downloaded most of the material (mostly to incriminate/ dox the protestors). A real journalism outfit then put together a timeline of the whole capitol protest via videos that attendees posted there.
About $24 billion was distributed to farmers, but trade dropped precipitously and trading partners no longer trust the US and sought out other sources.

These traditions won’t end with Trump. Biden will retake them and continue them. Trump is a sad but temporal departure from American common, traditional decency.

Really? You’re going to try to distinguish between “The Brazilian virus” and “the Brazilian strain of virus” or “the Brazilian variant”?
It’s all indicating where it was first discovered by nationality. But I guess, given all the past instances of playing fast and loose with words, even to the extent of redefining words, to concoct racist nomenclatures and push narratives, I shouldn’t be expecting any less.

Really? Last I checked all data was obtained legally and without any hacking. This is like saying that the internet archive of all fatwallet threads was done by someone hacking the back end interface.

“Protestors”. Right. You mean armed insurrectionists who perpetrated a terrorist attack on the US Capitol… who murdered Capitol Police and wanted to hang the VP and capture or kill members of Congress.
The government also asked people for help scouring “social media” and finding the terrorists.

Parler’s cardinal security sin is known as an insecure direct object reference, says Kenneth White, codirector of the Open Crypto Audit Project, who looked at the code of the download tool @donk_enby posted online. An IDOR occurs when a hacker can simply guess the pattern an application uses to refer to its stored data.
So the hackers were hitting Parler’s servers in an unintended way that got them access to various internal data, and this internal information was simply organized enough they could collect most of it.
As for what counts as “hacking”, in practice it is what the victim says it is if you’re a corporation vs a person. If you happened to notice you could download people’s SSN and CC/DL#’s by sending some random url to your local Target’s or DMV website, I sure wouldn’t want to have done that a million times and claimed it was all fine to the jury.
I don’t necessarily agree, but the Computer Fraud and Abuse act includes unauthorized access as hacking, so if something was poorly secured and not intended to be accessed by the public and you access it, especially repeatedly and not just once by mistake, you’re probably in trouble.
