Wow, not only did They lose or destroy his ballot, they expunged all history of his voting registration too. This goes Deeper Than I Thought.

"And, as they have since the beginning of his candidacy in 2015, Trump’s campaign accounts patronized his businesses in the post election period.

The Trump Victory committee paid $34,000 to the Trump Hotel Collection in its final 2020 filing. The same committee also paid a Trump-owned limited liability company that operates a private plane, DT Endeavor, $39,200 on Nov. 24.

Another Trump campaign committee paid $75,000 in rent to the Trump Tower building in December."

You’re experiencing WEATHER, not CLIMATE. But the two are related – the warmer the climate, the more extreme the weather (yes, both hot and cold). Educate yourself.

There were a few people at the Capitol before Trump ended his speech at 1:11 pm. At 2:11 pm, the mob breaches the door and invades the Capitol. Maybe a ton in the crowd were just watching and not actively trying to get in but the coincidence level is pretty darn high considering it takes about 30-45 min to walk the distance between the rally and the Capitol building.

Just look at the people arrested in this case. The arrests I’ve seen reported fit pretty darn well the QAnon/White supremacist terrorist mold. I have not seen many antifa and BLM people arrested. Odd. Who had courted/cajoled/tolerated/encouraged this QAnon extremist crowd for months? Trump. Who ordered a riled up crowd to march on the Capitol? Trump.

You’re saying it was all planned by Democrats who knew Trump would direct his cultists to march on the Capitol from the rally. They infiltrated and implanted undercover fake QAnon/White supremacists to gather separately? These waited for the Trump rally crowd to arrive and then launched their assault and made sure to get arrested as proof of who was behind the insurrection? That sure sounds like the deep state for you. Honestly if that’s all planned by the deep state, at this level of machination and execution mastery, we may as well give up and join them since I don’t think anyone can touch this machiavellianism. LOL Seriously, disbelieve all you want, sometimes if it quacks like a duck, maybe it’s just a duck.

Besides, Trump’s rhetoric since the election and rally enabled this to happen to matter how you slice it. Even if it was all a scheme by people who do not support him - no matter how very very unlikely -, if there had been no rally, what are the odds of this happening? Zero. At best, he enabled it. At worst, he deliberately incited it. I’m leaning towards something in between like accidentally inciting it. He may have wanted a show of force but not something that violent and dramatic. Anywhere in that spectrum however is not presidential to me.

No no no, you see it was all Antifa invading the Capital, while the brave patriots that Trump addressed stood by and did nothing to protect the country they love so much …

Thanks… Nice report & very well written. A scholar in your own right… :relaxed:

But… you didn’t answer my question.

“Not that different” != “the same”.

This man charged with knocking a female police officer down where she struck her head and was knocked out. It turns out this “patriot” friend of Trump “is also wanted in Riverside, New Jersey, on assault allegations dating back to 2019, the FBI said.”

This is total climate alarmist BS.

I shall withhold my advice for you to educate yourself. Would not want you to attempt the impossible.

But I have about had it with climate screamers like yourself. You people do not know whereof you speak, but your voices are very loud.

Having watched Biden in action for only a bit less than two weeks, what frightens me is what IS presidential to you. You, and far too many other Biden supporters, are governed by nearly pure emotion. You were, and you remain, unable to separate Trump’s unfortunate personality from all the good he did, especially for America’s most disadvantaged citizens. And your boy Biden is only just getting started. The amount of damage he will be able to do in four years is almost inestimable. And you will richly deserve the entirety of his destructiveness. After all, you voted for it.

Of course that matters. Nothing could be more obvious. It clearly is obvious to Roberts, but then he is only the Chief Justice so far less insightful than yourself.

The only way Trump being out of office would not matter would be if he purposefully had resigned to escape impeachment and to avoid a trial. But President Trump served out his term. So it’s tough toenails for all you Trump haters. You lose . . . . . again . . . . and of course that is by definition.

The best way to tell that Biden isn’t remotely Presidential is his complete lack of issuing wild insults on twitter and the fact he hasn’t golfed at a course he owns once so far. In fact he doesn’t even OWN a golf course, the nerve!

That sounds like an oxymoron to me. IMO Trumps “unfortunate” personality is precisely that he can’t stop showing his true emotions. If somebody does what he wants, he’s all smiles and kudos. Next day the same person doesn’t do what Trump wants, then it’s fire and brimstone spewed at rallies and Twitter.
Yes, Trump did good things. I applaud that he brought front and center China’s stealing IP from American companies, for instance, and tried to do something about it (not the right things, but at least made people aware of the problem).
However, personality is important in leadership, at least in the leadership of democratic societies.

No argument. You are correct. Trump never was able to escape his Queens personality straightjacket.

I once told scripta I though Trump was a putz. I stand by that. And I can forgive, to a point, persons who simply cannot abide him. I have my own problems with his personality. But weighing the horrid alternative, which daily is coming into ever sharper focus as Biden’s left-wing proclivities emerge more and more from hiding, I stand resolutely by my decision to support Trump instead, warts and all.

I might moderate my stand a bit if Biden compromises with the “gang of ten” Republicans. We shall see, and we shall know in the fullness of (not very much) time.

How do you know Biden does not own a golf course? His Chinese BFFs might have given him one there . . . . on the QT, of course.

Biden’s love affair with China is just one of many very scary aspects of his presidency.

Speaking of which, you may have heard how Western art has become a popular status symbol / purchase among the rich in China. You would never guess what sort of untraceable money-laundering hobby Hunter just took up - painting the weird stuff he sees when he takes all those drugs and looking to sell his works via a Chinese art dealer.
