Got hit again… blah blah I said NO to giving details to kamal. Plus I told kamal To Get Lost. I guess kamal or friends complained.
shinobi, I thought the same thing. Congratulations. But also I’d like to wish Rush good wishes.
I watched a little of the phony Trump impeachment trial this afternoon. Trump’s lawyers made a compelling case in his defense. Then a fifteen minute recess was called. During the recess all the network Democrats, masquerading as “reporters”, did their darndest to impugn everything Trump’s lawyers had presented. I flipped from network to network. It was the same thing regardless which channel I was on. The left-leaning mainstream media magpies were all singing an identical “get Trump” tune, just as they have done for the last five years. Bunch of shmoos. Waste of my time. I turned them off.
From the AP:
The Biden administration on Friday announced plans for tens of thousands of asylum-seekers waiting in Mexico for their next immigration court hearings to be allowed into the United States while their cases proceed.
Here we have Biden once again putting America first.
(not)
Biden: “What pandemic?”
I can only speak for myself:
I already know as much about socialism, communism, Marxism, and globalism as I want to know. Champions of those ideologies will not find fertile ground trying to sell them to me.
I believe in the Holy Bible, in the Constitution of the United States of America, and in traditional American ways of doing things.
Note: I responded to Argyll’s post before he withdrew it.
Yes, I read it before eliminated. A slip of the tongue from the famous orator.
I dont complain. In fact back on Fatwallet I openly requested the mods not to delete posts from someone calling me names. I will openly request that here: if the mods would un-remove pattyb53’s post directed at me please.
Or perhaps SRS is unavailable in Florida?
The guy is ludicrously wealthy. He could get any treatment he wants anywhere in the world.
Thank you, kamal. Very well stated.
As OP let me say this:
Posts here by kamal, Argyll, scripta, arch8ngel, and Bend3r are most welcome and encouraged, and I thank those excellent posters. This is true as well for anyone else with a liberal viewpoint.
The precise intent of this thread is to promote an exchange of views. You cannot have that unless voices from all sides of issues are heard.
Obviously I thank, too, posters here on the conservative side, like xerty, pattyb53, and others. Your posts are equally welcome.
So thank you to ALL posters.
Agreed. You don’t know why people make the medical decisions they do. It is an intensely personal thing.
It’s just that SRS makes a whole lot of sense to me. Maybe I’m simply unaware of its limitations. I am for certain not a doctor.
True story:
I lost a good friend to cancer several years ago. He lived in Boston and had access to some of the finest medical services in the world. I spent a lot of time talking to him before he died because he said it helped. Never once in all those conversations did he ever mention SRS. And I did not know, back then, what it was . . . . . or I would have told him for certain. So he went on chemo and passed in a pretty horrible way.
My opinion: anyone fighting cancer should at least educate themselves regarding SRS.
"McCarthy insisted that the rioters were Trump’s supporters and begged Trump to call them off.
Trump’s comment set off what Republican lawmakers familiar with the call described as a shouting match between the two men. A furious McCarthy told the then-President the rioters were breaking into his office through the windows, and asked Trump, “Who the f–k do you think you are talking to?” “”
And then Trump said ‘my ass kisser, in a few hours you’re going to object to the vote, and then tomorrow you’re going to come on down to Mar-a-Lago is kiss my ass some more.’
And then McCarthy said ‘yes of course, I’ll make sure to bring my best mouthwash’
/and he did
Interesting stuff
It appears the Senate will vote today in the Democrats’ phony impeachment trial. The mainstream media arm of the DNC is carrying on about the horror of it all and about each individual Senator’s vote. Senators who vote against Trump are heroes, those who vote to acquit are skunks and garner scant media mention at all since such votes do not support the media narrative.
Of more interest to me is something receiving scarcely any attention at all in the media right now. This was highlighted here up thread by our poster, Bend3r:
Once Trump has been acquitted, will Congress then (and only then) pursue him beneath the terms of Section three of the Fourteenth Amendment?
I’m not entirely clear how such challenge to Trump would be begun or carried forward. But there is no doubt Trump hatred on the Democrat side is sufficient to challenge him somehow. And if they can “git 'er done” with just a majority vote then they surely will.
So bottom line, today’s acquittal might be only the beginning of problems for one of America’s great Presidents, Donald John Trump.
At the moment changes happening. The left going for witnesses (in the middle of the stream).
One Republican senator talking to FOX about the idea that Graham changed his vote from no to yes. (on calling witnesses) Vote 54-45 Idea that, R Graham has some plan he’s cooking up.
Who knows??
It was the Jewish space lasers, they targeted Graham with delta waves?
Only the nicest people are Trump supporters:
"I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are. "
