No, the road is not for tourist!! The road is a border patrol road. To set you straight, the place is not a giant rest stop. Very few visitors get there, mostly Agents stop by.
As we proceeded down the road, Border Patrol Agents would pass our bus. Actually as we looked outward from the old homesite, it was barren dry country. Our guide told us that once in a while, an illegal trying to make it onward would come in begging for water.
“No wide spread voter fraud, just these 35 cases of isolated voter fraud that we actually found”
Georgia’s election board this week referred 35 cases of voter fraud for prosecution.
“Election fraud is not tolerated in Georgia. When there is evidence of it, the people responsible face prosecution,” Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, chairman of the five-member board, said in a statement.
The cases include four instances where authorities say convicted felons voted or registered to vote and four other cases of non-citizens voting or registering to do so.
Stacy Abrams’ nonprofit was also cited for various violations.
Would you like to go into more detail on your desire to have construction companies continue building roads for illegals to use for easy access to America?
"The Justice Department is now making clear that a leader among the Oath Keepers paramilitary group – who planned and led others in the US Capitol siege to attempt to stop the Biden presidency – believed she was responding to the call from then-President Donald Trump himself.
“As the inauguration grew nearer, [Jessica] Watkins indicated that she was awaiting direction from President Trump,” prosecutors wrote in a filing Thursday morning."
“The Trump Administration has been the worst administration in history for black farmers," Boyd said. "We have been totally shut out of the farm subsidy program, farm ownership laws, from rural development. We have been totally shut out of these programs.”
Government aid to farmers spiked during the Trump administration, [reaching a record of $46 billion in 2020, according to NPR. And the prior year, America’s farmers received $22 billion, the highest level of subsidies in 14 years…
the nonprofit news site The Counter reported, citing documents obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests, that nearly 100% of Trump’s trade war bailout went to white farmers."
says the racist who’s begging Biden for a $5B racist handout fund, whites and Asians need not apply. Sounds like Biden style “equity” at work.
the Emergency Relief for Farmers of Color Act, which would provide $5 billion in direct aid to Black, indigenous, and Hispanic farmers.
4 links deep into that crap article you find the reason behind the headline - there’s nothing racist at all, the Trump farm aid program was open to everyone and, unsurprisingly…
Because the program’s payments are tied to production, the largest and most successful producers are collecting the lion’s share of the funding. Although some large farmers received nearly $1 million for crops harvested in 2018, so far most family farmers have received less than $5,000.
I guess whitey just knows how to organize a big business farm better. Hopefully we’re not following the Zimbabwe or South African approach to “land reform”.
Speaking of fake racial issues, check out what the Rag of Record was unwilling to publish. NYP got a leaked copy of the spiked article discussing the firing of their Pulitzer-nominated pandemic reporter for the woke crime of using the N word in reference to the word itself.
In an initial note to staff, editor-in-chief Dean Baquet noted that, after conducting an investigation, he was satisfied that McNeil had not used the slur maliciously and that it was not a firing offense. In response, more than 150 Times staffers signed a protest letter. A few days later, Baquet and managing editor Joe Kahn reached a different decision.
“We do not tolerate racist language regardless of intent,” they wrote on Friday afternoon.
His real crime of course was being white, and worse, apparently “not believing concept of white privilege.” Sure didn’t help help him keep his job, so I’m siding with him on the lack of privilege issue. The editorial continues, reasonably enough -
We are living in a period of competing moral certitudes, of people who are awfully sure they’re right and fully prepared to be awful about it. Hence the culture of cancellations, firings, public humiliations and increasingly unforgiving judgments. The role of good journalism should be to lead us out of this dark defile. Last week, we went deeper into it.
But reason isn’t welcome at the NYT, which is why any calls for it (such as the above editorial) go unpublished. Nor I doubt is consistency, or I would suggest in light of their new “red line” policy on racial issues regardless of intent that the NYT go thru all the social media of their black staff going back til they were teenagers to see if any of them deserve a similar career lynching for using this forbidden word. They would richly deserve it for their racist hypocrisy.
Meanwhile, I try to only read the NYT when I’m in the mood for taking apart idiot ideas dressed up as propaganda, while the NYP is looking better and better.
Your characterization of the situation is of course spot on, xerty, but it is much kinder and more generous than my own.
Without taking anything whatsoever away from what you correctly wrote, I believe they are doing it as well in order to rend, to tear down the existing order. They want to “upset the applecart” in order to destroy America as founded, a great country, but hardly the socialist utopia they envision. And what better way to bring us down than to FLOOD us with thousands of expensive Central American peasants! That they are so anxious and sufficiently bold to continue doing this during the current pandemic just underscores their burning hatred for their country.
Socialists/communists really believe they have the correct approach to governance. And they are willing to fight, to pull all stops, in order to prevail and saddle us with their madness. If they succeed here in the USA the last light of freedom and liberty will be extinguished, perhaps forever. Nothing would make them happier.
Shinobi – sometimes you need to take a step back and realize that you are from a generation that was heavily indoctrinated during the “red scare” and it inhibits your ability to rationally discuss social programs of any kind to where your knee-jerk response seems to be that people that disagree with your opinions “hate America”.
You are entitled to your opinion, arch8ngel, as I am to mine . . . for now at least.
There does seem to be an organized effort afoot to extinguish opinion like mine. But I assume you either have not noticed or you agree with such an effort. In any event, you richly deserve the world you so eagerly seek.

You are certainly entitled to your opinions, as well.
The only thing you post that I’d seek to change is the unfortunate need you seem to have to express your opinions rudely and in a way that doesn’t really foster a discussion.
But as I’ve gathered from a few other discussions, evidently there is an attitude of martyrdom where people being asked to be polite is some form of “cancel culture”
That is too broad. They hate America as founded, our beliefs and traditions, our forefathers and heroes. They want a different version of America, one at least more socialist if not worse, which they will then love.
I believe in equality of opportunity. They believe in equality of outcome.

There can be no meeting of the minds between free people, who cherish liberty above all, and socialist/communist/globalist people. It’s oil and water. The differences are irreconcilable.

The problem is that you are characterizing anyone who doesn’t fit your definition of “conservatism” as being whatever “leftist” boogeyman you want to call them, rather than recognizing that you have a very specific viewpoint that is failing to acknowledge that it isn’t a simple black-and-white issue.
EDIT: I don’t recall your stated views on a number of so-called “wedge issues” – but given that many of them are social-in-nature rather than economic/governmental, I am wondering whether “libertarians” are “conservative enough” for you, or not, or if you find their social views to be “irreconcilable differences” as well. Just trying to get a clearer picture of where you actually stand, when a number of your posts read as if they were written by Rush Limbaugh.
Gosh, thanks. That is high praise indeed. I really do not measure up to Rush, but you are very kind even to mention me in the same sentence.
And while on the topic of Rush, I am extremely sad to report it appears he is near to the end. I hope I never get cancer, no less lung cancer which must be awful. But if it should happen I would be inclined to a preference for SRS (stereotactic radiosurgery) treatment rather that the chemo Rush chose.
Still, Rush is rich and can afford the best doctors and treatments. But some doctors will not even tell patients about SRS. Or perhaps SRS is unavailable in Florida? I dunno. Regardless, looks to me as if Rush is a goner and he is only just seventy years old. It will be a huge loss.
