We couldn’t send back those illegals bringing in new strains of covid, that would be too mean for this administration. Even keeping them detained, or in Mexico, until they were no longer positive would be unthinkable. Instead, they’re free to go in the US and just asked nicely to quarantine somewhere.
Brownsville does not have the authority to prevent those who test positive from traveling elsewhere in the U.S. – and are advising them to quarantine, follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and socially distance.
When they said Texas was opening up, I don’t think this is what the Texans wanted.

If the social justice mob sees that you will cave, they will keep making more and more demands and pretty soon you don’t have anything left to sell unless is anti white or anti male propaganda. I’m sure they’ll go for that cat soon enough, but didn’t think they had the media backing to do it yet. Start with things that are smaller and more minor, make some noise, maybe they give in to get you to go away. But then you just keep coming back with more and more demands. Disney is already talking about removing their branded stuff entirely from their theme parks. They’re going to lose a bunch already for not defending themselves.

Disney has been replacing with newer IP in all their rides, because they find the new IP more profitable. Norway became Frozen ( :(! ). Splash Mountain is losing the rabbit. The overtly racist characters had been removed from the ride long ago. The rabbit is mainly going because no one knows the rabbit from anywhere except the ride and they want to insert more new IP without building new rides.
The exploitation history of the Uncle Remus book is just an aside and not why they’re reskinning the ride.
You mean the human condition - incremental improvement and progress. And always those fighting any change. We should all still be living in the 1800s. Maybe no running water, plumbing or electricity, all the devil’s works.
But these progressives aren’t fighting change, they’re trying to destroy the society and values that got America to where it is today and our left leaning politicians are too dumb or self-serving to stop them.

It’s only these social justice fascists that want to tell you what you can and can’t think that need to try to stop other people from saying what they want, freely assembling, criticizing our election integrity, etc. let’s get rid of the foundations of western civilization because it’s “racist” and we can all live like they do in Haiti or Zimbabwe or Venezuela without any of those evil white ideas, capitalism, etc.
It is rare to find other instances of scholars so consumed with hatred for their own disciplines that they literally want to destroy them from within. Presumably if an ultra-progressive astrophysicist concludes that his field is desperately out of touch with social-justice concerns, he simply goes and does something else for a living rather than agitating to have students stop learning about space.

The books are not banned, and existing copies are accessible in libraries (though not likely in children’s sections) . They have place in a historical context. The out of production books do not have a place as children’s books, the copyright owners have decided not to cater to the neonazi minority. Maybe they will update some of them at some point and release new versions.
Kick and scream all you want. But in the US the law is the copyright owners have control over their IP.

We’ve already seen in this thread how “building the wall” meant building a bunch of roads in hard to cross terrain, making it vastly easier for illegals to enter the US. You even went and did some tourism of those roads.

Also in high terrain area. Few illegals would try to get in there. The only illegals that ever got that far in, would be tired & very thirsty individuals. When caught they were quickly apprehended & transported back to Mexico. (so the story told)
