What is happening in Maricopa County (AZ) is not a recount. It is a forensic audit. The two are not at all the same thing.
The auditors are using UV illumination and other methods in an effort to identify phony ballots. Work is underway to detect watermarks, creases, and so forth which every valid ballot features.
Will this forensic audit produce votes for Trump or reduce Biden’s count? Nobody honestly knows what the outcome will be. The investigation is being done by an independent third party. Anything could happen. But one thing is absolutely certain:
The Democrats are going bat-crap crazy in an effort to stop this audit which is, again, NOT a recount. Nobody is saying the Democrats cheated. But they certainly are acting like cheaters.

Still, they got a $122 million interest-free loan for a few months. The campaign could have made over $300,000 in interest just putting it in a 1% savings account for three months.
[Note, there have been some campaigns that have done this before, including Democratic Congressional campaigns, but no one to this extent with multiple prechecked boxes and for these amounts. Trump is the best (or worst) at this ever. He wins again as the most venal and devious.]
