Sweet Gretchen is doing everything possible to kowtow to her nutty global warming embracing base and shut down the Enbridge pipeline where it crosses the Mackinac Straights. Believing herself omnipotent, Whitmer is trying to do this by executive order. Somebody tell this wack job that her executive order violates an international treaty!
Whitmer is your typical Democrat woman. She is unattractive and stupid. But it’s even worse than that. She is two-faced and disingenuous. Consider:
In an effort to address Whitmer’s (unfounded) concerns, Enbridge offered to tunnel 100 feet beneath the Straight and re-route/re-locate its pipeline to that very safe location. This offer addressed all of Whitmer’s environmental concerns regarding lake pollution, regardless how ridiculous, albeit at a cost of tens of millions of dollars to Enbridge. So, you ask, why is this tunnel not already completed? The answer will dumbfound you:
Whitmer has so far nixed the project!! You see, Whitmer is not really concerned about pollution of the lakes. Instead, Whitmer is doing everything she can to ensure Alberta tar sands minerals

Whitmer is the consummate environmentalist wack job. It would be inappropriate for me to write here what needs to be done to her. Suffice it to say she should not be holding public office.

An 11-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested Wednesday while the younger kid was allegedly driving a vehicle that was carjacked… The 11-year-old was previously arrested for several other robberies and carjackings, sources told the TV station.
And somehow they’re not still in jail or juvvie, but out on the streets car jacking and robbing. If only some of this new “domestic terrorism” legislation could put them away for good, but who am I kidding.

Yes, anyone who doesn’t buy your alternative facts is now excised from the former GOP. It IS now solely the party of Q and Trump. Whoever the Democratic party runs in 2024, the Totalitarian QOP will most certainly run a qanon nutjob or Trump Crime Family representative. That much is clear, it Won’t be a conservative.
In 2012, the nutters were already present but rejected at the local levels (there was a “5g” nutter at my SD convention, that put up an amendment to the party platform to a vote and was roundly defeated). The racists were still coming out of the woodwork and present at the state GOP convention but voted down. In 2020+, it’s the nutters and the racists running the show in the QOP. Nothing looks to change with that anytime soon.
Conservative presidents have had very little lasting impact on the course of our nation. Progressive ones have made much more progress at leaving their marks. The legacies of Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Lyndon Baines Johnson, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama have radically changed our country. They all expanded the social welfare state to varying degrees. Now President Joe Biden intends to build on their legacies.
It is crystal clear the Biden priority is NOT the health and well being of United States of America citizens.
It is, instead, virtue signalling and the well being of Central American citizens at whatever cost, of any nature, to the United States of America.
And incidentally:
That includes the unseen and unreported costs associated with Biden having pulled thousands of border agents away from their drug interdiction duties, in order they might be available to deal with the overflow of illegals pouring in. Biden has created a field day for the drug cartels, a matter Trump had put right. But then:
Trump’s supporters oppose drug use. Biden’s acolytes rely on drugs to get through each day.
Republicans mess it up one more time - elevate Stefanik
You can rely on Republican stupidity. They just elevated Elise Stefanik into the House Republican leadership. Bad move:
Stefanik is a Harvard grad. You don’t learn conservatism at Harvard
Stefanik is a New Yorker. New York is one of the least conservative states in America
Stefanik has only a 77% conservative voting record. Disgusting, but no shock there.
There were numerous better choices for Republican House Conference Chair. But the Republican geniuses ignored them all.
At this point, two of the top three Republicans in House leadership are from either New York or California. That pokes a stick into the eyes of the Republican conservative base.
Republicans: screw 'em!! They piss me off and they do not deserve to win.
I think she really came to light at the first Trump political battle. Even a New Yorker might have more insight on getting down deep in the mud of their corruption. Who knows?

Anyone notice how the CDC’s decision to say vaccinated people don’t need to wear masks indoors is based on absolutely no new data whatsoever?
