The 2020 USA POTUS election politics, the civil war, and the world war (Part 1)

and in a related story it looks like the Israelis are cleaning house of the left-wing propagandists for Hamas

The strike on the building housing media offices came in the afternoon, after the building’s owner received a call from the Israeli military warning that it would be hit.

Edit: and here as Paul Harvey used to say is the rest of the story,

Earlier today the Israeli Defense Forces took out a building in Gaza that housed a Hamas intelligence office. The building was shared with the Associated Press and Hamas propaganda outlet Al Jazeera. IDF warned of the strike ahead of time, giving journalists ample time to safely evacuate.

As a measure of how bad things have become, nota bene:

Today if you are in the US military, and if you openly decry Marxism, you are finished:

Commander openly opposes Marxism, loses command as a result

This guy wrote a book revealing Marxism is spreading throughout the US Military. Looks as if he was right! They certainly do not like it when anyone shines a light.

After four years of the Marxist Biden administration these people will be so embedded in the military hierarchy it will be impossible to weed 'em out.

A noteworthy domestic aspect of the current Israel/Palestinian contretemps is the high number of American Jews who hope Israel loses and is seriously harmed.

You would expect, from Jews, love and respect for Israel. But no. That would have meant an impossible vote for Trump, an Israel supporter. But millions of American Jews voted for Biden, instead. And here we are only four months in, after four years of Mideast progress good for both Israel and the Arabs, with Israel under serious attack from two sides. But those American Jews could not care less. They have Biden now, and that is all that matters. They probably even join with Biden in embracing Iran, a sworn enemy of both Israel and America. But for them, so long as Trump is gone, it’s all good.

We live in interesting times.

Today a man can say he is a woman and get away with it. Disagree and you are an LGBT hater.

Similarly, today a Democrat can say he is a Republican and the American mainstream media insists you believe it is true. Then that same media puts these “Republicans” front and center on the Sunday morning shows. One caveat: you have to hate Trump to qualify.

See them this morning, claiming to be Republicans while promoting the Marxist cause.

I remember when the press gave a certain President a hard time about using defense funds for border security in line with his priorities. His successor is more bold, placing the needs of illegal immigrants ahead of containing the pandemic to the tune of billions of misappropriated funds.

The Biden administration has pulled more than $2 billion out of programs authorized by Congress for COVID-19 testing, emergency medical supplies and other health needs — and is spending it on shelter for the 45,000 unaccompanied migrant children that have flooded across the US border this year

a Texas nonprofit won two HHS no-bid contracts totaling nearly $620 million to provide “emergency intake” services for migrant children shortly after hiring a former Biden aide.

Political satire roundup

Trouble in the GTA . . . actually in Toronto itself:

Courageous and fearless pro-Palestinian Muslim protestors violently assaulted a very old Jewish man on the streets of Toronto. Rely on Muslims to seek out and destroy only the most powerful and threatening of targets. What a stalwart band of fighters!!

Associated Press got their building in Gaza blown up and were complaining about the one hour evacuation lead time they were given by Israeli intelligence. Sounds like they might have had more lead time than that if they’d only chosen to use it.

Gabe Hoffman, producer of the documentary “An Open Secret,” said in a tweet: “@AP didn’t know about sharing a building w/ Hamas for 15 years?!?”

Noah Pollack, a contributor to the Free Beacon, said in a tweet: “Spoke to a well-placed friend in the IDF just now. The bombed AP office building contained multiple Hamas operations & offices including weapons manufacturing and military intelligence. The building also housed an Islamic Jihad office. And AP’s local reporters knew about it.”

Another user wrote in a tweet about the AP that it “doesn’t say much for their reporting abilities if they missed a Hamas staging office a floor away.”

That book (see up thread for cover photo) is currently #2 on the Amazon best sellers list!!

It appears many people are taking this threat seriously, as well they should.

" Donald Trump’s golf resorts lose a lot of money…the 15 courses he owns around the world have lost over $315 million over the past 20 years. The interesting question is why does Trump hang on to so many money-losing enterprises?"

Trump’s patchy business record is well documented. He demonstrated a genius for self-marketing and licensed his name to resorts and luxury developments all over the world, propelling him to the White House. But his businesses have also filed for bankruptcy six times, and he counts dozens of hugely expensive failures among his successful business ventures.

There were his Atlantic City casinos, which closed after racking up billions of dollars in debt. There was Trump University, which paid a $25 million settlement to former students in 2017 after New York’s attorney general called it “fraudulent.” And there was a short-lived airline called Trump Shuttle.

The accounts for Turnberry and Trump Links suggest they may be two further examples of poorly run businesses. A detailed analysis of Trump’s two courses by Behind the Balance Sheet, a financial research consultancy, illustrated that profits had been consistently lower than at other established rivals in Scotland, including Loch Lomond Golf Club and Gleneagles, and that capital expenditure had consistently outstripped revenue growth at both resorts."

Experts say it could be incompetence, vanity, or something more sinister

Lol, more junk articles from that online magazine - you should pick a better source for news. The answer is depreciation, as any real estate investor would know.

In fact, if you look at their example income statement for his Scottish golf course, they lost $2M but wrote off $5M in depreciation so actually made $3M in positive cashflow. Sounds like a fine business to me, but to these clowns, it’s “sinister”.

That’s not what Trump and his accountants say. Who should I believe, them or you? The loss figure includes the depreciation. Trump’s records show massive debts and losses.

If it’s that easy to make millions through depreciation, everyone would do it.

You just make things up to defend your hero, even if he says something completely different.

The actual explanation is probably money laundering for the Russians.

Do you really believe Trump is a good businessman?

https://www.yahoo.com/news/fbi-investigating-alleged-massive-scheme-204511116.html

Everyone that owns real estate investments does do that.

Seriously though, you don’t look at an organizations tax return to see if they made money. Organizations are incentivized to make their tax returns show as little of a profit or as much of a loss as possible. Unless you’re looking at audited financial statements, you’ve not getting a true picture of how well or poorly a business is doing. I’m not defending Trump. You don’t end up bankrupt multiple times unless you’ve failed. Maybe his golf courses and other ventures are all doing terribly. But you aren’t getting an accurate picture via their tax returns.

This is xenophobic and racist, right?

Who’s the Putin stooge again?

For five years, the bulk of the U.S. media pushed and endorsed a demented, dangerous conspiracy theory about the world’s second-largest nuclear power that not only lacked evidence but was negated by every relevant event. As I documented in late 2016 and then again in 2018, there is a stronger basis for claiming that Obama was significantly more accommodating of Putin than Trump ever was. And after just four months in office, the same is true of Biden.
