Interesting. It would appear that in your world “false” is synonymous with “true”.
In your world, all conservatives are smart and all liberals are stupid. The reality is that there are plenty of smart and stupid liberals and smart and stupid conservatives. Your gross generalization is false. You keep grouping people to your liking to fulfill your narrative. It’s disgusting.
Actually there are fewer and fewer classical liberals around these days. They were principled. Unlike the trash that now occupies the political space they once did, they are worthy of at least some respect.

And everyone who doesn’t agree with the president (who is not and has never been a Republican as I’m pretty sure you’ve acknowledged) now has a new label – RINO. The truth is that the party has shifted so far to the right, that people who in the recent past were considered Republicans got a whiplash and are now RINOs. Even though they’ve stuck to their principles and ideals.
It’s not gonna work. One of the neighbors will quickly become a socialist/marxist/communist who’ll want to cut up the tree and share the cost and the wood among all the parties involved, while the other will be a neighbor-in-name-only for failing to properly maintain his yard.
Ok, interesting the way you made your remark to my story. I’d say my friend fell into your first group. Because I’m sure he knew the meaning of BLM. Probably he’s a racist. But on the other hand with this story, Demarkus Cousin’s was simply “baiting” him. They have known each other a long time & have talked of this issue time & time again. The unfortunate ending to the story is, my friend got caught talking when he didn’t know he was being taped.
Again scripta, your second issue of “it’s difficult to separate racists from ignoramuses”. It’s another rude utterance in my opinion.
Another moral here is “we live in two different worlds” I’m happy I don’t have to live in your world.
I meant to imply that all racists are ignoramuses, not that all ignoramuses are racists. In the context of this issue, it’s difficult to separate the two groups. Once a person utters the phrase “all lives matter” they’re obviously ignorant, but you’d have to dig deep to prove they’re not also racist. Thus, as I said, it’s difficult to separate racists from ignoramuses. That’s what leads to the overreaction and people get fired.
Do you think this is rude? To whom am I being rude?
I don’t see what’s so unfortunate about a racist losing his job for being a racist. Karma is a bitch. It would only be unfortunate if he was not a racist, IMO.
The dictionary definition of a racist is “a person who believes in racism, the doctrine that one’s own racial group is superior or that a particular racial group is inferior to the others.”
This belief is ignorant of the truth that no racial group is superior to another group. This truth is universal, it’s not “my world” or “your world”. So what the heck are you talking about?
" Moral relativism has been debated for thousands of years across a variety of contexts during the history of civilization."
This is not a new discussion. It’s not going to be settled anytime soon.
Some of us will continue to believe there’s only one world, that we’re all living in. Which has some self-evident truths, as well as unalienable rights that apply to every person, that aren’t up to relativistic interpretations.
Now you’re just being rude directly to me. I do not know everything and I do not behave as if I did. And if you think what I wrote is wrong, you need to point out what is wrong. You can’t even back up your own statements.
And just FYI, that’s not what a “smart aleck” is, because I’m not being sarcastic or humorous.
And just so we’re clear, I’m no more irritating to you than you are to me. But I try to be civil and explain my position, while you attack and offend without any depths to your explanations. At least shinobi provides some reason behind his arguments.
Are you sure that’s not an article of faith rather than a fact? I mean, if you look at the top players in many professional sports, Olympic metals for track, etc, you might well conclude the best black athletes are better than the best of other races. Do you really think all the whites and Hispanics and Asians are just slackers when it comes to sprinting, or can’t be bothered to compete?
