Yes, I think they donât know yet or if Biden might still try to run. It could be Kamala, it could be Biden and Kamala, it could be Biden and Obama (4th term went Biden steps down later), or it could be Gavin or any of the other pretenders to the throne.

The logs show Dr. Cannard traveled to the White House residence medical clinic each time. He met either with the presidentâs personal physician or the naval nurse who coordinates care for the president and other top officials, the logs show. Before July 2023, Dr. Cannard had visited the White House only once during the Biden administration, in November 2022.
Another issue is that medication for Parkinson is can have protean effects on mental status. Sometimes bizarre things such as compulsive gambling. None of these changes would you want manifesting in someone in the Oval Office.

Big democratic fundraiser comments on the Democratic Partyâs bad situation, blasting Biden for going back on his promise to be a 1-term president and suggesting that the law in several swing states makes it very difficult to replace him as the candidate at this point.
you no longer can remove [Biden] in three swing states â Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Thereâs only one Democratic [state legislature], Michigan, they have to vote to remove him. Judging from that comment, this donor doesnât think highly of Kamala. Me thinks having Kamala debate Trump would be strategically bad for the democratic party. Itâd make evident why many voters dislike DEI and other similar paths to equality.

Because the two tasks Biden publically assigned to her were the border and crime. Those two issues, together with inflation, are the Achilles heel of the current administration. Even a fool like Trump will have no problem pointing that out again and again.
If I may add, should Kamala become the candidate, sheâs also going to be asked how on Earth she --and others-- didnât notice Bidenâs cognitive decline. Or why did she keep it to herself?

I watched most of Bidenâs Q&A last night and he seemed to do about as well as youâd expect for a pre-debate Biden. A few word slip ups but broadly he seemed reasonable. I think this will make it harder for the (non)Democratic elites to force him off the ticket in the little time that remains.

The same people who raised tens of millions of dollars for the presidentâs reelection campaign just four weeks ago; the same people who three weeks ago called unflattering video footage of the president âcheapfakesâ and silenced those questioning his fitness with mockery and censure; the same people who told us the president is running rings around them on policy and is the smartest guy in the room, are now lining up one by one to stab him in the back and in the front, calling him unfit to run, demanding he step aside.
Those same people who were perfectly content to help reelect him for four more years were happy to do so as long as his true state of mind was hidden from the American people.
