The 2024 election politics

I think he’s also voting against the Hamas wing of the Democratic Party. He was pretty pissed about Harvard’s weak condemnation of the Oct 7th attack and organized a donation boycott by alums which certainly got their attention.

Agreed, we/the Dems should not be supporting Hamas OR the Palestinians (since it’s the feeder team) I think cutting the top off the snake does not work, unless it’s Iran.

Let Israel finish the job, the current admin is still supplying them with what they need…

Are you thinking that at least a third of them were lies, and thus the remaining two thirds should be ignored?

I think he’s voting his pocket book, common sense, and love of his country.

Not disagreeing, but how do you know that?

Kamala wants all black men to become drug dealers, er, entrepreneurs, and she’s offering them $20k a pop for their vote.

You can tell she’s losing when she’s making up stuff like this.

Is that legal? Can loan forgiveness --aka free money-- be offered on the basis of race/gender and still be constitutional?

She might try the reparations BS that they tried in CA.

The idea of reparations is unconstitutional too, IMHO. You can’t tax, i.e. penalize some people, to redress harm they never did.

No, but that doesn’t stop the woke crowd from trying and possibly even succeeding if they’re in charge. They can always invite the Oppressed to sue the government for whatever and then they offer to settle for a few $M without a fight - I’ve seen that happen selectively.

yep, it’s happened in CA for confiscated property. Heirs got beachfront property back

the recent munition/ troops being deployed. We still provide aid ~50K per Israeli/yr

Market knows something we don’t?

Well, market thinks he’s going to win and the odds markets and his stock have been on a tear ever since his rally with Musk 1.5 weeks ago. Up +100% in the last two weeks -

Leave it to the legacy media to take a brief drop (halted for volatility is standard for all stocks that move up or down about 10% quickly) and put a negative spin on it.

Here’s a great hedge fund guy talking about this.

I thought CNBC was pretty neutral/ pro business. I guess MSNBC is bleeding over  They have been pretty anti TSLA/ Musk for a while though

Everything can be legal, if it buys enough votes to artificailly surpress the greatest threat our democracy has ever faced.

Phillips 66 to close California refinery days after Newsom signed oil law

Phillips 66 announced Wednesday that it will close its Los Angeles oil refinery next year, citing “long-term uncertainty” two days after Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a law clearing the way for new regulations on the state’s refiners.

The closure would knock out about 8 percent of refining capacity in a state that barely produces enough of its special-blend gasoline to meet demand from its 31 million gas-powered vehicles.

Why omit other important points? You clearly have an agenda.
