Modernaâs trials on young kids saw one death from a heart attack, which they deftly managed to not report by selectively reporting only on parts of the trial (older age groups, etc) to avoid that inconvenience.
By reporting the ROVER trial findings along with the partial KidCOVE data for older children, Moderna effectively made the death of a healthy young child in its clinical trial disappear.

New FDA management wants proof of benefits for Covid vaccines for healthier people.
In a paper published today in The New England Journal of Medicine , Martin Makary, the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, and Vinay Prasad, the newly appointed head of the FDAâs vaccine division, have unveiled a new policy in which the government will no longer recommend Covid booster shots for healthy Americans ages 64 and younger.
In addition, as of today, Covid vaccine manufacturers like Moderna and Pfizer will have to conduct trials to prove that their updated vaccines offer clinical benefits such as fewer symptoms, hospitalizations, or deaths. Previously, pharmaceutical companies only had to show that their updated booster shots produced antibodies. That less rigorous standard will still apply for people 65 and older and the immunocompromised.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to scrap guidelines recommending routine Covid vaccinations for pregnant women, teenagers, and children.
âWe simply donât know whether a healthy 52-year-old woman with a normal [body mass index] who has had Covid-19 three times and has received six previous doses of a Covid-19 vaccine will benefit from the seventh dose,â they wrote. âThis policy will compel much-needed evidence generation.â
vaccine stocks like Moderna rallied when this new standard was less strict than feared.

Donât let politics blind you. Take a look at how Trump disapointed people who trusted in him blindly, the latest example being Elon. Now Elon is going back to Tesla, after becoming the face of heartless government gutting. Itâll take years for Elon to erase that image, if ever.
As for Trumpâs and RFK Jr.'s experts being better than others. Well, millions of lives were saved after those vaccines began to be distributed. Look at the charts that show the dramatic decline in infections and deaths after people began to get vaccinated with mRNA, circa early 2021.
Letâs be honest â the decline in hospitalizations and deaths might also be attributed to the fact that everyone got it and we built up natural immunity. IIRC the virulence of a new virus typically decreases over time.
