Alliant Credit Union

I logged in earlier today, no problem.

Really?

All I get is a page reading:

"We are experiencing technical issues.

We are experiencing technical difficulties and are working to resolve the issue
Please check back later.

Reference Number 7807333817782927210"

Working OK for me now, @Treffen . I was logged earlier today - probably around Noon.

I found part of the problem.

I can get there on the chrome browser but not on firefox and I can’t answer their emails on hotmail, perhaps because it’s booked marked in firefox.

I logged into Alliant yesterday, using my edge browser with text message 2FA.

If you’re using firefox with noscript, you’re sol. You have to disable noscript and clear your cookies, at your own risk.

I use FF with NoScript and it works fine – I just mark all the necessary domains as trusted.

I noticed that Alliant just bumped up the margin on their credit card APR by 0.25%, so the lowest rate on the Visa Signature is now prime + 8.99%. Previously it was prime + 8.74%, and a couple years ago I believe it was even lower, but I wasn’t paying close attention.

It is my understanding that they’re required to notify customers of APR increases for any reason other than an increase in the Prime Rate. I didn’t see any notifications. It doesn’t affect me and hopefully nobody else here, but still seems fishy.

I’ll admit I made a mistake, there’s a first time for everything. I should have said if you use Firefox and NoScript and limit javascript to Alliant domains, you’re sol.

I tried Firefox again today and it worked fine.

I didn’t do anything to fix it, it just works now.

I’m beginning to think Alliant and Discover use the same web de-designers.

Anyone received an email from Alliant to login within the next 2 weeks to get password encrypted?
Thank you!

No, but I haven’t been able to get to my accounts tonight, because this error shows up right after the account details flash:

I was able to click through to redeem rewards, but those clicks had to be lightning fast as as I couldn’t stop the loading of the error page even with all of my browser extensions

It’s that time of year; more data points of account closures:

I’m apparently still safe.

Yikes. I hope I make it through. I did a lot of hub activity with them last year, sometimes pulling money in and immediately pushing it out.
