Alliant Credit Union

People should be forewarned that there is a greater than zero chance that by “statement cycle” they are referring to the statement closing date following Nov 1 not the next statement cycle that starts in November. Meaning there is a possibility that any charges on the statement that begins in Oct and closes in Nov could get the new reward rate.

Just based on past experiences with Alliant. That interpretation would be right up their alley. There’s no way to really know for sure until we see what actually happens.

Could someone tell me the subject line of the email please? I saw an email from Alliant, but I thought it was a “statement ready” notification and I deleted it :frowning:.

The subect was “Update: Alliant Cashback Visa Signature Terms”

The minimum redemption is now $25, if anyone cares

I cared, since I finally was able to cash out.

I just noticed annual dividends posted to my Alliant accounts. Is that new? Or, was I just asleep the past few years of using them.

I’m thinking about applying to Alliant CU. It’s been years since closing out and they’re showing pretty good offerings now. Just a thought..

Are they? I don’t see anything good.

I don’t recall ever getting any “annual dividends” when I had my accounts open. What does it look like? Is it not just regular interest?

I barely use them these days. What appeals to you?

I didn’t receive that. But I got 14 cents of interest last month, so not like I do much with them. American Airlines Credit Union pays a bonus dividend every year, but you can get better interest rates elsewhere. is till have a 2.25% car loan from 2022 with them though.

Patty, I thought they banned you?

Alliant isn’t anything special. Ever since Mr. Mooney left, they haven’t been interested in offering a competitive savings product.
