Does the coronavirus merit investment, or personal, concern or consideration?

Review of various Vit D related studies, correlations, and observations. He comes away unsure it helps, although I disagree.

There is quite a bit of rural property just outside of the Villages. Citrus farming during the day, and dancing until nine at night. That dancing is continuing through the Covid wars … which may seem strange considering it’s a retirement community, but there is not shortage of customers.

My plan of retiring at 105 is predicated on the fact that I will be alive then. So, much like the Fauci MD’s prediction, you can take it to the bank of monopoly money.

I’ve only got verifiable anecdotal evidence. My mother and sister, both with age and comorbidities out the wazoo, each tested positive for the virus. They self-medicated with 8k Vitamin D and (unknown dose) of Zinc. They also drank enough water to float a dreadnaught. They did this for 4 days, pre and post diagnosis. Although unknown if their infection was mild or severe, their symptoms were extremely mild.

Sounds great!

Farming oranges would be quite a new task Too old to start citrus, but, I could dance until 9.

this guy talking about herd immunity vs returning to normal life without serious illness makes way too much sense. surely he needs to be banned from Twitter or something.

Cuomo getting investigated for hiding those covid nursing home deaths, 50% higher than they were willing to report. They admitted it subsequently, and “blamed fear of Trump” made them do it.

Federal prosecutors have begun an investigation of how the administration of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo handled the Covid-19 pandemic in the state’s nursing homes, people familiar with the matter said.

The new inquiry, led by the U.S. attorney’s office for the Eastern District of New York, in Brooklyn, is in addition to an August request for records from the U.S. Department of Justice’s civil-rights division about state-run nursing homes.

State records released last week show that the death toll for long-term-care facilities is more than 15,000. That is about 50% higher than earlier reports, which didn’t include more than 5,600 facility residents who died in hospitals.

We’ll see how well his book on pandemic leadership stands the test of time. “Leadership crisis” indeed.

Herd immunity incoming? crashing cases globally well ahead of plausible vaccine effects.

PFE vaccine may not need to be super cold, just cold.

Why does it take over 6 months for them to determine it will remain stable for two weeks?

Just another thing that can be put on the ever-growing “Innocent coincidence or intentional obstacle?” list.

Yeah. Brought to you by the infamous dry ice and refrigerated trucks cartel.

Or the make-everything-as-complicated-as-possible-until-after-the-inauguration cartel. Or the we-have-other-super-cold-drugs-that-no-one-is-using-because-no-one-has-cold-enough-freezers-to-store-them cartel.

But any of them work, it’s the “oops, I guess that extreme requirement we forced on you really wasnt a requirement after all” coincidence that was my point.

The conspiracies are getting nuttier and nuttier. What does the inauguration have to do with this? Moderna’s vaccine, approved a week after Pfizer’s, can be stored at a more modest temperature. BTW, it’s great that Israel now has the leisure to conduct additional studies while cruising towards getting most of its population fully vaccinated. I doubt Pfizer could have initiated parallel phase 3 studies at different temperatures and still get a vaccine approved last year.

By “we” and “you” you mean “Pfizer” and “USA”, or “FDA” and “Pfizer”? Just want to be clear if you’re laying blame on Pfizer or FDA.

All, some, or maybe none of the above. I’m not laying any blame. That’s the point - something stinks a little, but it isn’t attributable to any one or thing without more information. I think I was pretty clear about that.

Oh wait, you mean who came up with the cold requirement to begin with? I think that pretty clearly came from somewhere within Pfizer, didnt it? The FDA is merely enforcing the criteria Pfizer provided to them. The “why” is what’s unknown.
