Yes, could be. That faq is only about checking the status (which is required to update deposit information)
Elsewhere it does seem to specifically indicate that you can’t update direct deposit information if you don’t have 2019 submitted.
If they’re only sending out (for example) 5 million paper checks per month, it’s already determined that it will not occur before 2019’s new due date. Unfortunately, we’re past 4/15 now, so I don’t think there’s any options to shift things around for 2019 anymore to fit the new rules that seem to be superseding what was in the legislation.
a) Hyatt stock is not doing good. Compare Hyatt to S&P500 in the past 2 months. S&P500 is down ~15% and H is down ~30%. Thats a pretty poor bandito.
b) Seems anyone in congress can buy / sell and trade any stock they want without being guilty of insider trading. Thats a travesty and none of them should be allowed to do that. Someone in congress should really put a stop to congress… oh…
My comment was not about the stock price. Fact is Congress gave Hyatt a BUNDLE of money, while at the same time purposefully writing the Trump hotels out of the legislation. Hyatt and Trump are competing hoteliers.
Without those funds from Congress Hyatt’s stock price would be even lower. Meanwhile, unbridled Democrat hatred for Trump prevailed to write his properties out.
And yet, knowing all that, Trump signed the bill. He did so because he puts country above his personal interests.
Maybe other coverings will start to be mandatory in addition to face coverings…
“I think that what we should do in terms of social distancing and being safe is that the policy on the part of the entire Australian population should be that you don’t fart close to other people, and that you don’t fart with your bottom bare.” - Dr. Norman Swan
However, at least most of us have some risk mitigation in place already… “Luckily, we wear a mask, which covers our farts all the time”…[meaning] pants, shorts, dresses, underwear and other garments.
Colbert: “Which raises an interesting philosophical question: If pants are the mask of the butt, are masks the pants of the face? Anyway, experts recommend that, for safety’s sake, please fart into your elbow.”
Edit: I think I just threw my back out testing whether Colbert’s recommendation is physically possible. I DONT recommend attempting to fart into your elbow. I am getting the idea that this Colbert guy must think he’s a comedian or something.
Well, he did so because he knew that pointing this detail out would be taking their bait, and he’s be crucified for holding up relief money over his own interests.
I have repeatedly signed up to be notified when certain food items are back in stock. I must have my email address on about twenty items so far. Yet I’ve never once received a notification. Here is what I’m finding:
When a critical item comes back into stock it might have an availability lifetime of only a few hours. I have been fortunate enough a few times to be able to grab this or that item . . . . not because they notified me . . . . just because I was checking for availability on my own.
Bottom line:
Don’t rely on Walmart.com’s notification service. You could starve.
One final thing:
I have found so far that if they allow you to order an item, they eventually will ship that item to you. It might take a few weeks, though. But they have never sucked me in and then turned around much later and cancelled my order.
The coronavirus task force press conference is this afternoon at 5:00pm ET . . . nominally. They usually are late. Regardless, pursuant to that:
I am noticing the absence of Dr. Fauci over the last several days. I will be looking for him in particular this afternoon. Am wondering if Fauci has split with Trump and is no longer supporting POTUS.
Dr. Birx has remained loyal, it would appear. She has been there each day. But Birx is former long time United States Army and might have an innate loyalty to the Commander in Chief, regardless who it is. Fauci never served in the military.
Why start now? End of June upcoming I will have been here on the net for exactly twenty-five years. There is not a lot of fairness here. But it’s still fun.
And Trump is hugely late for today’s presser . . . now over one hour late. Still interested to see if Fauci shows up. Maybe Trump will announce he is off the team.
ETA
OK, Fauci is there, first time in several days. Guess he remains on the team.
