IIRC, at the beginning of this war, Putin or some other Russian, claimed they were fighting to clear Nazis our of Ukraine. Those assertions were not just lambasted or ignored by big media, but I can almost guarantee that Facebook and Twitter limited/eliminated any mention/discussion of them on their platforms.
I guess it worked so well for the BCF in 2020, why not keep the train rolling.
They weren’t ignored by anybody. They were ridiculed. Nazis may exist in Ukraine and they may even be in those battalions that have been fighting the Russians since 2014, but they don’t have any political power. At least according to the media and the people actually in power.
Putin’s stated alleged goal of the “special military operation” was and still is to “de-nazify” Ukraine. But anybody who knows anything also knows that this was just a plausibly-sounding excuse to prevent Ukraine from getting closer to EU and NATO. The amplification by the “small media” (?) of the Nazi symbolism in Ukrainian armed forces plays right into Putin’s narrative.

How the EU gives away their citizens money to Saudis, Indians, Chinese, etc via their anti-Russian energy policies. Oil and gas are fungible, and so is money.

More on the Nordstream being blown up by Ukraine. German investigation findings cite Ukrainians involved and much of the activity based out of Poland.

Among the latest findings of the German investigation: The single-mast sloop, loaded with military-grade explosives, sailed south into Polish waters from the Danish island of Christianso. Interviews with those familiar with the Andromeda’s voyage indicate the sabotage crew had finished half of their job, laying deep-sea explosives on Nord Stream 1, the older of the undersea gas pipelines, before they set their Bavaria 50 Cruiser on a course away from their target, toward Poland.
The passengers had returned the boat unwashed, which allowed investigators to recover traces of explosives, DNA and fingerprints.
German investigators have fully reconstructed the entire two-week long voyage of the Andromeda—the 50-foot white pleasure yacht suspected of being involved in one of the biggest acts of sabotage on the continent since World War II—and pinpointed that it deviated from its target to venture into Polish waters.
The previously unreported findings were pieced together with data from the Andromeda’s radio and navigation equipment, as well as satellite and mobile phones and Gmail accounts used by the culprits—and DNA samples left aboard, which Germany has tried to match to at least one Ukrainian soldier.
Polish officials have acknowledged the country’s long Baltic coastline, its 320-mile border with Ukraine and its sizable population of Ukrainians offer obvious advantages for individuals staging such an operation

That doesn’t matter. What matters is that the two stories are different, and if the latest story is true, then Hersh’s story (including the allegation that Biden ordered the attack) was a lie.

Just because the two stories are different doesn’t mean that the CIA wasn’t involved, or that President Joseph Robinette Biden didn’t order it, although I’m still not sure Hersh accused him of that.
