You’re probably right about that, and you might insist that Trump is trolling us. But a few people (like Bill Maher) have been absolutely serious saying that Trump won’t leave the office even if he loses the election. Trump’s own rhetoric supports this – unlike every president before him, he never said that he would accept the results of the election. And he’s doing multiple things to make the people believe that our elections are rigged. And serious people have been considering what could happen if he loses but doesn’t leave.
Trump is trying to play the Putin playbook (if you’re not aware, Russia also has a constitution and term limits, which the Putin-controlled government recently reset with some new law, giving Putin a restart and 2 or 3 more terms, or whatever the limit is, after having served I don’t even know how many now). Thankfully our Constitution is not so easily manipulated.

Lol, that’s some top notch Presidential trolling. Plan for your 3rd term when it’s looking dicey you’ll win a second one, knowing the media can’t help themselves but talk about that instead of your real faults. Maybe he’s getting his groove back after all.
As for the legalities, I’m sure if his second term is as Great as he says it will be, all the states will happily vote to change the constitution to allow his Greatness to embiggen our hearts for another four years.

They all blow their trumpets when campaigning for a second term. And Trump’s trumpeting is well known, I’m surprised he left it at 3 terms and not something more like the rest of the millennium. It’s wishful thinking, something everyone does (although most have different priorities when it comes to what they wish for).
And not to nitpick, he could’ve simply been referring to Pence running as his successor. He didnt say “I”, he said “we”. Dont try to claim he wouldnt consider a Pence presidency to be an extension of his own legacy (as it is, if he were to lose in November, we all know Trump will try to claim credit for anything good Biden does the next 4 years.)
What hogwash. How the hell can an actual recording of an actual conversation be “propaganda”? It may be completely benign, but listening to it would also be benign.
The arrogance of such a dismissal - especially following an impeachment attempt that included actual transcripts where certain people insisted they knew better what was “really” being said than what was actually said.
The headlines about Trump tweeting propaganda is the only propaganda here. I don’t know what the reality is behind any of these conversations with foreign leaders, but the hypocrisy and double standards are mind blowing. At the very best, this is playing right into Trump’s hands, giving his conspiracy claims the appearance of significant credibility. And at worst, this validates his conspiracy claims.

Of course you don’t. That’s what our intelligence agencies are for. Or, as you apparently choose, what Russia is instead interpreting for you.
But some in the Trump bubble are anti-American (Yes, that’s a rare case where this is not an unwarranted exaggeration, when the topic is undermining US National Security by choosing Russian propaganda and dismissing the US citizens serving our country, as well as all of the US’s allies’ intelligence agencies) and distrusts Americans. Instead they take Russia’s word for it and eat up Russian propaganda.
At some point, intentionally and knowingly doing work as an operative for a foreign adversary crosses a line and is no longer in an imaginary gray area. Obviously a different situation than unwitting participants.

They hear the same recording we hear. The only people who know what’s “really” being said is the person saying it. Unless it’s Trump saying it, then apparently everyone knows what he really means except him.
What interpretation am I choosing? There is no interpretation, it’s the actual audio recording. And no one has even attempted to claim it was faked.

I initially glossed over this. It’s laughable to claim a belief or interpretation is inherently invalid just because a foreign government endorses it. That’s implicitly saying that you’re only allowed to express your opinion if it’s the “right” opinion. That is what’s anti-American.

YOU were complaining about CNN trying to make people aware of something specifically identified by the US Government as Russian propaganda showing up “in the wild”. As if they have no right or responsibility to do so. CNN didn’t identify the propaganda, the US Government did. It’s in the interest of the public to be aware of foreign propaganda and those who are propagating it domestically.
Railing against a free press disseminating basic facts (again, because you instead want to further the reach of what you are actively aware is a foreign
adversary’s propaganda) is not “patriotic” by any definition.

Huh? Favoring one interpretation over another is not “basic facts”, that’s the exact opposite of being fact. That CNN article is the propaganda, whether they created it or are unwittingly conveying it. It’s not reporting facts, it’s reporting how we are supposed to interpret the facts.

He PARDONED Susan B. Anthony. I’m not making that up. He granted a Presidential pardon to their hero. The suffragettes are apoplectic. They are having an absolute FIT! And they are demanding Trump withdraw and rescind the pardon immediately. This is so funny I can hardly contain myself.
You see, the women activists solemnly believe Anthony never committed an offense in the first place. She did break the law. But the activists do not recognize that law as ever having been in the least valid. By pardoning Anthony, Trump has certified and made official her wrongdoing years ago. And today’s activists, who see things VERY differently, do not agree with that in the least.
Trump has done some cool stuff to rile up the left. This one ranks right up there! Keep up the good work, Mr. President!

Never a mention about the looter’s & rioter’s. What is happening in NY, Seattle, Chi, not a word.
But if any one remembers me saying something about “taking a knee” during National Anthem. Well Rush was also waiting. But he said all the singers were only shown neck high. Maybe they were on a knee.
Great thing going on now. Michelle, never a mention of Harris. Course we all know it was taped a week ahead. Michelle is lounging at Martha’s Vineyard & couldn’t be bothered re taping.

Note how that report never says that any of the “help” was fabricated. I wasn’t aware that information is only valid if dug up on your own; I thought facts were facts. The source can make you reluctant to believe the claims, but no one is doing that, they’re just summarily rejecting the source.
And of course, there’s the headline “Trump says he didn’t discuss…”. Then the sudsequent text clearly says he actually said he “didn’t recall doing so”. Of course, we all know that can be a common strategy to avoid answering a question you don’t want to answer. Noone actually knows what Trump did and didn’t recall at the time, yet we’re supposed to immediately jump to the conclusion “He lied!” and consider it to be fact.

Absurd how unsafe they were, pointing guns at each other and unrelated people on the sidewalk, with their fingers on the triggers. They have ~zero support of their recklessness from responsible gunowners, and their actions aren’t helpful for gun rights advocates. The choice to hold them up as a mascot is telling.
Quite a contrast between who is given a platform to speak by the Democratic party vs. the Trumplican party this year.
Notably absent is a Republican party convention… Unless you count the Republicans speaking at the DNC…
